You run out the room with gusto, and to your potion brewing class.

The classroom is in the Aer tower. The classroom has ingredients and many apparatuses neatly scattered. Ms. Celeria, a Yuki-Onna woman, teaches the class.

   "No! Wrong, Adrian! Ms. Celeria yells at the hornet guy.
"GOD DAMMIT WHY!" He yells, almost pushing his potion set up off the table.

You're supposed to be making a basic healing potion. Ms. Celeria said to first gather distilled water, and then ground mountain flower and oil together in a mortar and pestle. You're then supposed to pour the mixture of flower and oil inside the water whilst stirring over a flame.
You do exactly that and create a potion.

"FINALLY, SOMEONE GETS IT RIGHT!" Ms. Celeria yells, pointing to you. She then moves over to Dereka, that anti-social elf girl.
"WONDERFUL POTION, DEREKA!" She says, giving a thumbs up.

Class ends with ease.
It is Friday, and the color contest begins Monday. The weekend is so close, but one obstacle stands in your way.
Combat class.

The combat class is located in the Potentia Tower.
On your way, you come across the bitch Katherine.
"See you during the contest, whelp." She says, grinning.
No... SHE of ALL people, made it into the contest.
Guess she's going to be your opponent then. But for now, you still have time left until class.

Katherine stops dead in her tracks and glares back towards you. She looks at you with an abhorred gesture.
"My problem..? My PROBLEM is that you are my competition, whelp." She says in a provoked tone.

"You are being a complete and total ass." You say, ill-tempered.
Katherine approaches you, around a foot away from you. She shoves you backwards, causing you to lose your footing. You regain balance.
"Who the hell do you think you are, calling ME an ass?" She says, infuriated.

Katherine lets out a growl. Her hand begins to charge with electric energy. You can tell a fight is about to break out between you and her.

Katherine is the first to strike. She swings towards you, but you quickly side-step out of the way. You don't have much experience with fighting, sadly.
You charge your rune of controlled fire, and wait.
She charges her rune of lightning as well, her hand glows blue and arcs with electric shocks.

She takes aim towards you, and quickly fires a blast of lightning at you! You aren't able to dodge the quick electric arc, and get hit. You almost lose balance, and feel an immense pain in your shoulders as the current enters your body.
"My electricity is quick and painful..." She says, circling around you slowly.
"I transform the particles in the air into super-conductive particles, which allows electrons to flow through, creating an electric arc..." She states, preparing for your strike.

Suddenly, a wall of a blue energy materializes, dissipating your flame. She makes a gesture with her hand and the shield flies towards you! You manage to doge away, but Katherine fires another arc of lightning at you.

Time to use conventional weapons.
You conjure another cube and fly it towards her. She jumps back as it explodes into a flame.
Out of the fame, you run through, your laser knife in hand! You stab her in the shoulder and cut her up a bit in her torso area. She yelps in pain, rolling back.

She lets out a growl, her face visible filled with an infuriated look. She moves her arm straight out to the side.
 "Lightning Glaive!" She yells out. A long glaive sparks with a yellow electric arc as it is materialized into her right hand.

Oh fuck. She charges at you, her blade spinning and slashing the air as she sprints. You continuously jump back, her blade a foot away from you. You back into a tree and her glaive finds it's way to your neck. She pins you to the pearlwood tree's white trunk, her glaive blade latched onto your neck.

"Give up, whelp..?" She says in a triumphant tone.

Shit, you're between a rock and a hard place here...
