Ask if it causes the elves any pain to be killed, and then resurrected. If it does, apologize in advance.

+1
A reputation for being civilized, especially a deserved one, will do us wonders. Plus, the looks on their faces will be priceless...

Chapter 1: Garden Gambit

Turn 7

Ask if it causes the elves any pain to be killed, and then resurrected. If it does, apologize in advance.

"If this causes you any pain, I apologize in advance."

"The sentiment is appreciated... Keep that up and you will earn a reputation for being civilized!"

Summon a Hellhound 3 north
Oscar stay still
Gronk and Ignacio move behind the hellhound to make a ^

"Canis meus maior quam canes! Occidet eos!"

"A hell hound appears in a puff of brimstone. The golems move up to flank it, forming a '^' shape.

Since there is no Summoning Sickness, the Hell hound takes a snap at the Jackal it spawned in front of! His attack roll is 11, which after factoring in attack bonus is not only enough to hit, but also barely activates the Hell Hound's Brimstone Drool ability. The attack deals 3 fire damage and 3 physical damage.

The Jackal has been torn into a pile of flesh, blood, and ash!

The two elves converge on the infernal mutt, and each takes a swing at it!

The first elf rolls a 12, which is a hit after factoring in attack bonus. It's blade sinks into your summon and inflicts 4 damage!

The second elf leaps into the air and comes down swinging hard! Its attack roll is a natural 20, and a 17 confirms the crit! It deals a lethal 14 damage!

You Hell Hound has been cut clean in half, lengthwise!

The remaining two jackals converge on Gronk, fangs bared! The first Jackal rolls a 2 and misses the Golem completely. The second Jackal hits with a 14 and inflicts 2 damage!

"What is funny feeling I am feeling?"

"It is likely pain... amigo. A thousand curses on our creator for giving us simulated nervous systems!"

Well, it may not be pain, actually. It may just be his systems interpretation of pain, while to any birthed creature, is an entirely different sensation. Oh, and cat, just to let you know, be careful. These others, they use cats for the same purpose as cattle. Be prepared to take advantage of any vague commands that involve kitten bone trinkets or prepared kitten sweetbread. So, move about closer to the torch on the wall, and run behind the fountain! Run, cat, RUN! I don't like kitten tripe!(( :P))

"I'd consider that, but this is a sanctioned challenge of sorts, and we are sort of trying to kill as many elves as possible for the job at hand."

"I have a name you know. I'd rather you didn't call me 'Cat'. And I'm fairly sure the players know this isn't a game of Dwarf Fortress... Right guys?"

"I think that 'warning sensation that simulates organic pain' might be a bit... to much for Don Gronk's vocabulary, no?"

"...It feels funny and makes Gronk wanna punch doggy."

The same can be said for surprise. Lots of people, when surprised by a sense of touch, such as on the shoulder, will actually say ow, because their minds felt the touch, and surmise that pain might not be to far away. Oh, and sorry, I just recently became a player. Oh, and hmm, I wonder if having a good reputation will have any effects?  :P

Let see...

Move forward to put a Naughty Tentacle to the left of the poor hellhound
Ignacio move to the square south of Gronk
Oscar shall move to the right of Gronk and cast Fire Aura on himself
The golems shall then punch the bottom jackal

Summon Guardian Angel to buff and heal Golems.
Oscar stay ready.
After the golems are buffed, have them attack the closest Jackal while staying close to each other.

"...It feels funny and makes Gronk wanna punch doggy."
Gronk: Punch doggy. (The jackal, of course, not the bifurcated hell hound which he presumably has no desire to punch.)
Ignacio: Utilize Judo (or, barring that, Brute Strength) to throw the elf at one of the dogs. After moving to be able to do so, of course.

Chapter 1: Garden Gambit

Turn 8

"Alright. Not much agreement on what we are doing, other than having Gronk punch a dog. I've decided to use the dice to decide between everybody else's actions. So... Lets see what happens."

Quote from: The bay12 Bandwagon
Gronk Punch Dog!

"Yay! Gronk-o Pawnch!"

"With an attack roll of 19, Gronk brings a large sandstone fist down on the Jackal to his left, inflicting 4 damage, breaking a few bones, and leaving the poor priestly puppy with just 1 hit point."

Move forward to put a Naughty Tentacle to the left of the poor hellhound!

"Propter vos: ut spero porn orientalem!"

"A portal appears, it leaks sulfur and anchors a writhing tentacle to your current plane of existence! Right away, the tentacle reaches and squrims to attack the elf furthers to the right! Its attack roll, even after factoring in its large attack bonus, is only 9, so the elf manages to avoid the summons' attack."

Oscar shall move to the right of Gronk and cast Fire Aura on himself

"Mewthic Purrin! Mewl! *Hissss* Purrin! Cheezburger!"

Oscar dashes into the fray, and cloaks himself in the blinding glow of white hot fire!

"That should make em think twice before trying to attack me!"

Ignacio: Utilize Judo (or, barring that, Brute Strength) to throw the elf at one of the dogs. After moving to be able to do so, of course.

"Oh ho ho! I'm going to say a completely untrained Judo Throw will provoke an AoO! ...And these elves have enough damage output to potential to kill golems in one shot. Have fun with that one Ignacio!"

"But... That could... Oh my... Mierda."

"Ignacio approaches the elf and clumsily reaches forward, provoking the AoO! The elf swings its sword, but the AC roll comes up as a 2! Not even the fencer's well trained attack bonus or Ignacio's subpar AC are enough to make a roll that bad a hit!

Ignacio's luck is even worse! He rolls a natural 1 on his attempt to grab the elf, critically failing! He slips and falls completely prone and vulnerable at the elf's feet!

The enemies move next.

The elf who narrowly avoided a Judo throw bring's its sword down to finish Ignacio off! The attack roll is a 18, and would have hit on anything other than a natural one, seeing as Ignacio is prone and vulnerable. The elf deals 4 damage, leaving Ignacio with only 1 HP! Be very glad that inorganic constructs are immune to being CdGed.

"My lord... It's pain. Plain and simple. Pain."

"Does it make you want punch doggy?"

"...Why? Just Why?"

"The other elf decides to deal with the pesky summoner! It dashes foward at Ithan, but provokes an AoO from Oscar as it crosses the battlefield! It would have provoked from Ignacio as well, but the golem is busy being prone and almost dead.

Sadly Oscar joins the 'I rolled a 2 on my AoO' club, and misses the elf completely!

The elf closes in on Ithan, and nails the Antman with an attack roll of 18! The blade sinks into your Thorax, and inflicts 5 damage!"

"Eeeeeeeeks! No! I need my Ichor to remain inside me! Don't you know how hard it is to get that off my robes!"

"The un-injured Jackal smells blood, and decides to cast Accelerate Infection on Ithan! This provokes an AoO from Gronk! Gronk rolls a four, but sadly dosn't have enough attack bonus to turn that into a hit!

Ithan's wound becomes rancid and stinky, and he suffers 3 damage! The main character is down to 2 HP!

The Jackal who got punched decides to try and heal itself, which also provokes a Gronktastic AoO™! This time Gronk rolls a 16 on its attack, and bashes the canine's brains in before it can get the spell off!"

"Yikes! Mr. Ithan and Mr. Ignacio are both hurt and pinned down by the elves! *Gulp* I think I know what I've got to do guys..."
