This is a fantasy RTD inspired primarily
by The Wind Beneath Your Feet, an RTD I recently read. It also uses the Skills/Traits system I've been using for
a derail game. It also has a bit of inspiration from various other things.
Most actions will be decided on the roll of a d6, with a 1 being an utter failure, a 2 being a failure, a 3 or 4 being a partial success, a 5 being a success, and a 6 being a strong success. Your three stats (Muscle, Agility, and Intellect) will grant bonuses to certain actions, such as combat. Difficult actions will impose penalties, while easy ones will grant bonuses. If you score a hit in combat, another roll will be made for damage.
Name: Your name.
Class: Your class. You can pick one of the ones I made, or you can name your own and I'll make stats for it.
Race: Your race. You can pick one of the ones I made, or you can name your own and I'll make stats for it. If you are using one of the ones I made, pick one Skill and one Trait. If you picked Human, note if you are changing your stats.
Sorceror

Heal: Restores 2 HP. Costs 2 mana.
Fire: Inflicts 4 fire damage. Costs 3 mana.
Traits:
Adaptable: You gain an additional skill every third level.

Skills:
Defend: You block attacks with your shield. Gives attackers a -2 attack penalty and reduces damage taken by 1 until your next turn.
Taunt: Insults foes, drawing their attention.

Tough: When taking lethal damage, you may survive.
Ranger

Skills:
Calm Animal: Causes certain foes to become peaceful.
Runed Arrow: Fires an arrow enchanted to strike true. Inflicts an extra 1 damage and has a +1 attack roll bonus. Cost: 4 mana.
Traits:
Forest Strider: Grants various bonuses in wooded terrain.
Dwarf
Health: +2
Mana: -1
Muscle: +2
Agility: -1
Intellect: +0
Skills (Pick One):
Strike of the Forge: You can unleash a melee attack infused with the power of the dwarven forge. Inflicts melee damage plus 2 fire damage.
Strike of the Mountain: You can unleash a melee attack infused with the power of the Mountainhomes. Inflicts melee damage and stuns on a high roll.
Traits (Pick One):
Dwarven Resilience: Slightly reduces damage taken by melee attacks.
Iron Stomach: Grants resistance to poison.
Dwarven Weapon Training: Increases damage inflicted with Dwarven weapons by 2.
Elf
Health: -2
Mana: +5
Muscle: -3
Agility: +1
Intellect: +1
Skills (Pick One):
Green Arrow: Once per three turns, you can fire a Green Arrow. The arrow has special effects in addition to inflicting damage.
Elven Meditation: You can regain lost power through tranquility. Restores 3 mana.
Traits (Pick One):
Luck of the Fair Folk: When in dire straits, you may obtain a boon.
Nature Affinity: You are even closer to nature than most elves. You are Nature-element, and natural things will be more friendly towards you.
Bow Expert: You gain a bonus to attack rolls with bows.
Human
You may gain a +1 to either Health or Mana, at the cost of -1 to the other stat.
You may gain a +1 in Muscle, Agility, or Intellect, at the cost of -1 to one of the others.
Skills (Pick One):
Martial Training: You gain a +1 to melee attack rolls.
Acrobatic Training: You gain a +1 to move and dodge rolls.
Arcane Training: You gain a +1 to casting rolls.
Traits (Pick One):
Diplomatic: Certain creatures will be more friendly towards you.
Fortunate: You gain a +1 to certain rolls.
I'll be starting once three players post character sheets. Waitlisters will be added upon death or when I feel like throwing in more people.
I plan to keep this going indefinitely, and update reasonably frequently.
