Be careful with the olm removal. If you DO get it down, then you'll have a building destroyer loose. It might just sort of leave because the siege it came with died actually. Or it might get into the fort defences and cause havoc that way. Or just get executed by a weapon trap. The olm is mystery incarnate. It can do anything, once released from its temporal prison...

As with Schroedinger's Cat I propose this Olm is  dubbed the "Arcvasti's Olm"^^ Anyone against?
I say NAY that will be called the lizard dog!

I think we should set up a mechanism to end Arcvasti's Olm - eventually. Also we should forbid anydwarf to check on the olm's status. Maybe by building an inpenetrable box or something

Unless it's done before my turn I will do it^^ As long as the Olm lives anyway^^

What, you never heard about Schroedinger's Cat? I thought Arcvasti made a good comparison to that experiment so I proposed to call this one after him^^ Also, I almost never am random^^

The tree olm is absolutely not a fitting fortress mascot. This thing is a severe danger to our very existence. When you have ~20 (perhaps 25 with the migration wave) adult dwarfs, and the mere presence of this beast is liable to get ten of those stranded far outside the gates twitching back and forth, getting dangerously thirsty and unhappy _everytime anyone tries to pick up anything around there_, a half-hearted kobold ambush could topple what's left of the fort.

De-arborate that abomination with extreme prejudice, the sooner the better. If the human caravan brings a crossbowman or two who can shoot this sucker down, they deserve a commemorative statue.

we can use the restriced traffic zones around it and forbid any items near that area, that should solve the problem. you sound very aggessive, proposing to commemorate soldiers, some may think that you are trying to bring the military back^^

Do you want a dwarf with that? Mind, the situation's a bit volatile right now, which makes the life expectancy of newly-named beards suspect; and also accounts for the currently very low number of named dwarfs.

Yes, but please wait until things calm a little. Ringo McClellan. Or just "Ringo". He prefers a middle-class crafting job, jewelry if possible. He's also ok with mechanic, but doesn't like that as much due to the responsibility and the physical labor required in maintaining traps.

today i heard some of the adults talking about using cat-a-pults and baristas to nock off the tree olm
but i dont think we can safely set up a siege weapon to hit it

Olin is really sad cus' she don't have anybody. she hasn't eaten or drunk anything.

I'm having some of the dwarfs move some beds down deeper so that we can make the dorm down here better

hmm the fort isnt happy enough. maybe we could make a waterfall in or near the meeting hall!

NOOOOOOOOO NOT THAT FB!!! Thats the FB that killed my 7 year fort in the same world as charmcrafted! It caused my dwarfs beer to exploded leaving me defenseless against a giant dingo (i think) That would kick the heads of my dwarfs!
