A lot of people who wrote "D for Dwarf" articles would probably write ELVES in all caps without supporting details.

I'm not one of those people.

I say 75% of my adventurer's parents, because I always make dudes who end up leaving home in skirts and dresses.

Those dudes, when they survive raiding bandits, usually take the leader's pants along with his armor, weapon, and wallet.
It wasn't unheard of for men to run around in dresses in the middle ages, if I know my history.

Hm.

Well, in that case, I will have to wear the pants alongside the skirt; the wiki says that clothes offer next to no protection against injury, but if demon law-givers' clothes give as much adamantine-
masterwork-great axe protection as they do, six legwear bits should do about as good as copper or bronze mail.

The Sasquatch.

You think they would be noble, pacific, mysterious denizens of the woods and the quiet places of the Earth, right?

No. They're just assholes. They attack you. Freaking Sasquatches.

I have heard, but cannot confirm, that ancient toga-wearing Romans thought that pants were effeminate. The Romans were about as patriarchal as patriarchy gets, too. The gendered meanings of clothes can change significantly within and between societies.

that's because the clothing is scaled for their size and as such it's much thicker than the same gear-stuff for a dwarfs and humans who are much smaller than these demon law givers since they are size 10000000 compared to a dwarf's 60000 and a human's 70000.
