Soul powered weapons?
« on: November 20, 2013, 01:32:05 am »

I have dumped some vampires/nobles/kittens on a lava pit, it must be full of ghosts. Do kittens have ghosts?

Anyway, turns out i use that same lava pit to power my forges/smelters and i was thinking, what if those souls got absorbed into the weapons i forge?

A vampire infused sword, that drains the lifeforce of foes into the wielder would be awesome.

However i could end up with a *silver cabinet* that keeps demanding crowns to be made.

Nah you just get ghosts loitering around because you didn't bury them properly or give them a Memorial Slab.

Sadly, you can´t get soul-powered weaponry. However, with some modding, you might be able to make a cannon that fires ghosts.

This happened about a year or so ago: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=114389.0

Moody dwarf went macabre, grabbed and murdered a ghost, turned said ghost into a short sword.

In theory, you could scatter pressure plates around your dining hall, linked to spikes in your enterance...

Let's see how many people here remember that old thread.

At that point, the whole world is turned into a ghost.
