This is going to be a slightly unusual RTD.

You play as an employee of a tyrannical government. Your job is to handle requests for information and supply in the Department of Information & Supply. You are going to be doing a lot of paperwork, and the government hands down objectives every day to be completed and guidelines to be followed with extreme consequences to those who fail them. Making things even more complicated for you is the fact that terrorists and criminals are everywhere, and your friends may be one of them. You may even be contacted by them. They will require you to do certain things that may be difficult, but you will find that they will be able to reward you with items that actually make your job way easier. But the government is watching.

In game terms, this is going to play like an RTDified combination of Paranoia and Papers Please. You have a family to support, everyone is suspicious of you and each other, and disobeying the government is very rewarding. It's pouring outside as you walk outside. The apartment block next to yours is having a crackdown due to allegations of drug dealing occurring near it. You can hear gunfire and screaming in that direction. You keep walking to the tram. As you sit, the newsreel on the telescreens above you says that yet another terrorist attack has occurred, this time at the Department of Justice & Security. Dozens were killed, thousands more are injured. The newsreport generally states that this is an improvement, since the terrorists killed thousands the last time, and thus means that the terrorists are steadily losing their 13 year bombing campaign. Soon, the tram stops at the Department of Information & Supply.

Time to begin your job.

You step into the lobby with four others who look basically the same as you. The walls of the Department are high, and there is a statue of an eagle holding an information request form in one talon and in the other a supply request form, with the words "Societas est Supple & Notitia" below it. Ahead of you is a checkpoint consisting of two large metal turnstiles, two soldiers in gasmasks armed with assault rifles, and two ID checking computers, both on the opposite sides of the check points. A cheery sign showing a man showing his ID to a stylized ID checker says "Show your badge and ID to the ID checker, please!". There's a desk with a bored looking man on your side of the checkpoint.
