2. Titans (in Greek myth at least) were not eldritch abominations; they were the bones, the very building blocks of the world. An eldritch abomination is something that should not exist, that has no place in the natural order.

((Which is all very well in greek mythology, which this ain't, if you hadn't noticed. We are strange creatures that have no place in the natural order - aether given form.))
((GWG was using the Greek Titans as examples, I was just replying to that. Anyway, I just see us as a being that IS nature to a degree.))

Hair-splitting, but fine, I'll rephrase that.
Titans were so unspeakably bizarre that they would be mistaken for eldritch abominations by anyone who didn't know that they were the building blocks of the world, which had changed significantly since the birth of the world so they still didn't quite fit.

You can choose both one option from A and one option from B!
Hint hint.

A3, B1/2

Questions for the GM:

1. How large is Gaea? I'd imagine that Titans would be enormous, so how large is the world in comparison to real Earth?

2. Where did the other living things come from?

3. Will sentient creatures arrive themselves or do we have to create them ourselves?

1. Gaea is larger then earth but not much larger. About half again as large as earth. Also while you guys are very big you could definitely sit comfortably within Central Park in New York. If you want to become bigger then later on you can invest Aether into yourself to increase your size.

2. It has been about 2308 years since Gaea was created, and it took 2058 years for the Titan of Air to wake up. In the second post I put some info on the way that your powers work but to re-hash the important part for this: You guys can manipulate the concept of Nature but you don't EMBODY it. That means Nature also exists outside of you, so for the past 2308 it has very slowly been diversifying the ecosystems and creating new creatures. However, as you could probably tell by now, it isn't very good at doing it on it's own.

3. Sentience in this game requires a divine spark, so sentient creatures will never spring up the same way the current plants and animals have.

I found an image that looks like us (somewhat, it's not very turtle-like). Do we get bonus Aether points now?

Sadly no. It doesn't have to be perfect but at the very least needs to look like a turtle and have four limbs. Ideally it would have glowing eyes and a gem of some sorts embedded in it's torso but that might be getting too specific.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
That unfortunately looks too much like a sea turtle.

A) Ask for clarification on a subject
--A3)
It's ability to sense divine awakenings
1d100 → [47] = (47)
Minor Failure

You ask the Titan of Air about it's ability to Sense Divine, but unfortunately it has never had to explain it to someone before. It is unable to accurately describe how Sense Divine works and you don't learn anything from it. It apologizes and seems disappointed to leave on such a low note.

Right before it flies away it perks up again with an idea and offers to come and get you when it feels that the Titan of Earth is about to awake. It will then lead you there and you can both greet your sibling when it awakens!

Do you accept the Titan of Air's offer?

After hearing your reply it flies off into the sky.

With the Titan of Air gone you return to exploring your surroundings. The various creatures that inhabit this valley are apparently some of the largest and most complex that the Titan of Air has seen on Gaea. With that said you immediately see that you could improve them, even having never actually modified a creature before you know you can do better than this. Taking a quick survey of the creatures a few stick out to you:

An amphibious herbivore that you watch munching on the various grasses that dot the shoreline. It has a flat and wide head filled with blunt teeth for gnawing grass. It's body is shaped like a gecko but without any tail.

A small predator that leaps about with powerful back legs, it has claws that sharply curve inwards and sharp teeth. With the best eyesight you have seen from any creature so far it searches for prey and then leaps onto their back. The claws act like hooks to hold onto the prey as the hunter starts tearing out the neck of it's prey.

The one water-based animal you found. It has a long, soft, and flexible body that uses to swim through the water. It has no limbs and seems to eat the leftover detritus from other animals.

The only animal you have seen with any social behavior is a group of herbivores that travel together in a group. They have sharp spines on their backs and their rears and when in danger they huddle together face-first and burrow partway into the dirt. All that any predator is presented with is a mass of sharp spines which usually deters them. After they leave the herbivores get up and start traveling again.

After looking at these you know you can improve them, but then a thought hits you. Why bother? These animals are all clearly inferior so might it be best to just start from scratch and create a creature without using any of these other animals as a base? With this thought in your mind you decide on what to do.

Yes. Also, we want minions but how does one get Aether? We wouldn't want to squander our only unit of a resource without knowing if it's nonrenewable now would we?

B: Add a pair of leathery tentacles to each individual that end in three digits, including a thumb-like structure. These tentacles are located just above their frontal limbs and may e retracted into the body when not in use.

So I just finished enough of the map to give you guys a map view.

The gray area is unexplored area that you can't see and the arrows point in the direction that the Titan of Air indicated you could find the landmarks.

E.) Create a small maybe corgie sized insect It will have the characteristic head, thorax, and abdomen. It is very much like the current earth ant, with a few exceptions they have a very adaptable melanin that allows them to change there color in one generation to one more suitable for there new environment, reproduction would be changed up a little the colonies still having a queen but the queen would only be able to produce 8-10 eggs per fertilization so the colony would have another figure head the king a male leader who unlike the queen serves more of a purpose then a simple breeder he can manipulate the colonies actions by setting off pheromones. The social change compared to the ant is first of all colony size the colonies max out at about fifty members after that the king will set off a certain reaction during reproduction that would cause the queen to give birth to another queen and king who would seek there own territory to establish a new colony taking 3-4 members of there parent colony with them. Also these creatures (name yet to be decided) though remaining omnivores primarily depend upon plants and fecal matter of other animals, Due to this the (insert name here) will take and transplant edible plants to richer low land soil to promote growth as well as herding pastoral animals towards better "pastures" so that (insert name here) may eat more poop. If the king decides that the present food levels grow to low beyond saving through cultivation of life he releases a pheromone that tells the rest of the colony to switch into migration mode while in migration mode the ants travel the land leaving there home territory eating any biological matter in there way including other creatures, any eggs laid in this time will produce smaller faster (insert name here) designed for preditation. Once the colony reaches its new home site the preditation form will be used as a food source as the colony establishes itself.
