1. Bulldog-like is also quite specific. I can think of many kinds of ponderous heads with short (or no!) snouts that are not bulldog-like, and many bulldog-like heads that are not ponderous.

2. My drawing skills suck, so I can't really help there.

3. We are not "a natural creature". At most, we are Nature, or an aspect of it. Nature has many forms; why is a two-eyed form more "natural" than a three-eyed one? Since most natural organisms have no eyes, "logically" we shouldn't have any eyes at all. Of course, by that logic we should be a rock, bacterium, or plant, so it's obvious we aren't going by the "standard" natural template.
More likely, we are a sort of nature-associated being, something like the titans of Greek mythology or the titans of Dwarf Fortress or something. Those are all pretty "unnatural" by your standards.

1. Still, the descriptor of 'ponderous' doesn't work.

The shell of Aether that has housed you through your metamorphosis cracks open as you finally awaken fully. You feel the power of Nature flowing through you holding your form together, the one concept you had managed to grasp during the rebirth, a time you can barely remember. Though Nature is indeed a powerful concept it wasn't truly the one you were attempting to hold on to and so some of the idea related to it are not understood as completely.

[Gained Power: Nature]
[Nature Divine Mastery Level: Master(6)]
[Bonus Skill: Creating Life +10]
[Malus: Creating Life skill -5]

The crystal inside your body shines green and you look around to see that you awakened in a fertile valley, sunlight pours down from the sky onto your shell and there are barely any clouds in the sky, and many small creatures roam around. None of the creatures are larger then two feet long and they are all very simple, both in intellect and in form. The plants are all various types of grasses with a few fruit bearing shrubs. It is still early in this world and life is not very complicated, perhaps you could change that?

Before you could finish contemplating this you feel a breeze roll in through the valley and hear a faint hint of wings. This is quickly accompanied by a high-noted call and the feel of you sibling's power who quickly swoops down to hover in front of you. Twisting around in merry loops and screws your sibling lets out another happy call from it's beak.

It speaks to you in your mind, saying,"Hello sibling! I see you are finally awake! You are the fifth of us to awaken and I have come to greet you, as I have each of our siblings in turn. I was the first of us to awaken and it was quite some time before our sibling woke up after me. I am quite happy to finally have the company!

"Ah! My apologies I almost went off on a tangent again! I made that mistake with one of our siblings before! Do you have any questions? I'd be thrilled to answer them!"

It spins around in front of you, obviously quite excited.

================================================================================================================================

What do you do?

A) Talk to your sibling for awhile, it says it was the first to awaken so perhaps it knows something of value?
(Choose as many as you want.)
--A1) Ask about your other siblings
--A2) Ask what it has been doing
--A3) Ask what it has learned about Gaea
--A4) Ask about the creatures it has seen
--A5) Ask about the plants it has seen
--A6) Write in!

B) Rebuff your sibling, it is quite annoying with all that spinning and looping and twisting and especially the jabbering!
(Choose one)
--B1) Instead observe the creatures of the valley
--B2) Instead observe the plants of the valley
--B3) Instead explore the land beyond the valley
--B4) Instead try to find one of your other siblings? (Which one?)
--B5) Write in!

A1) Ask about your other siblings
Success

You ask your sibling about the rest of your kind and quickly learn that the sixth Titan has not woken up yet, which is revealed by your sibling in a tone filled with both anticipation and impatience. Of the others:

The second to awake was the Titan of Water who talked with your sibling for a time before it was directed to colder waters by it's request and has since been using it's powers to create a home for it's self out of a massive iceberg.

The next to awake was the Titan of Fire who quickly got annoyed with your sibling and sent it away. Last your sibling saw the Titan of Fire was burning down a vast grassland leaving nothing but charred land in it's wake.

Last, besides yourself, was the Titan of Death who conversed with your sibling for quite a bit of time about the creatures of the land. It then went off to do mysterious Death related things and your sibling hasn't been able to find him since.

A2) Ask what it has been doing
Great Success = Bonus to other rolls/reveals skills on Titan of Air's character sheet.

The Titan of Air appears to have awakened long before the rest of you, the time between your awakening and the Titan of Water's awakening has been barely a quarter of the time between the awakening of the Titan of Air and the Titan of Water. This time has awakened a great longing for company in the Titan of Air who has also learned to sense the awakening of other Divine beings, this is how it located you so quickly and so soon after your rebirth.

It also has managed to explore the entirety of Gaea and knows many of the landmarks on the planet, as well as the creatures and plants that inhabit it.

A3) Ask what it has learned about Gaea
Success

The Titan of Air has scouted out many of the most interesting landmarks of Gaea. It was it, for instance, that directed the Titan of Water to the largest iceberg on Gaea. It mentions a variety of landmarks to you: The Deep Crevasse that splits the surface of Gaea in the middle of one of the two great continents, the Maw which seems to suck even light down to the deepest depth of the ocean, and the Secret Valley which lies in the middle of the greatest mountain range on Gaea.

In general it mentions as well the great plateau that makes up almost the entire bottom half of the largest continent. It also describes a chain of tropical islands and the huge ring of icebergs that circles the entirety of the southern pole of Gaea. Finally it tells you that you are on the largest continent, north of the great plateau and south of the huge mountain range the hides the Secret Valley.

(You also learn that the Titan of Air probably isn't very good at naming things.)

There are certainly other interesting places but those are the places it mentions to you before moving on to other topics.

A4) Ask about the creatures it has seen

Complete Failure + Bonus = Failure

The Titan of Air briefly glosses over the topic of creatures, and doesn't seem very interested in covering a subject it has already talked to your sibling about in depth. All you can gather from the vague and rushed explanation is that almost all of the creatures are simple and small. The ones in the valley are some of the largest creatures on Gaea.

A5) Ask about the plants it has seen
Minor Failure

The Titan of Air has some to say about plants but not much. The most advanced plants it has seen are tall reeds that grow up to six feet tall that are found on the great plateau near underground aquifers. It has also seen various types of seaweed, grass, and mosses of all kinds. Fruit-bearing plant are very rare and it is quite noteworthy that this valley has some fruit shrubs.

====================================================================================================================================

You can choose both one option from A and one option from B!

A) Ask for clarification on a subject
(Choose one)
--A1) One of the other Titans (choose one)
--A2) One of the landmarks (choose one)
--A3) It's ability to sense divine awakenings

B) Thank it for the information and move on to other things.
(Choose one)
--B1) Observe the creatures of the valley
--B2) Observe the plants of the valley
--B3) Explore the land outside the valley (specify direction)
--B4) Instead try to find one of your other siblings? (Which one?)
--B5) Write in!

Questions for the GM:

1. How large is Gaea? I'd imagine that Titans would be enormous, so how large is the world in comparison to real Earth?

2. Where did the other living things come from?

3. Will sentient creatures arrive themselves or do we have to create them ourselves?

2. Titans (in Greek myth at least) were not eldritch abominations; they were the bones, the very building blocks of the world. An eldritch abomination is something that should not exist, that has no place in the natural order.

((Which is all very well in greek mythology, which this ain't, if you hadn't noticed. We are strange creatures that have no place in the natural order - aether given form.))

I found an image that looks like us (somewhat, it's not very turtle-like). Do we get bonus Aether points now?
