Okay so I'm awake and have eaten and stuff. So a quick look over the discussion it seems like this is the consensus:

Quote
A different idea we can build species that acts like eyes and ears across the planet while we bury ourselves underground and create underground ecosystem which eventually lead to a empire if left undisturbed by others. For safety precaution we can build a giant forest above us that gathers life energy from the surrounding environment. This life energy can enhance any living being in the forest, this will extend their life span but also increase their size over generations. Once we have these giant animals due to life enhancement from the forest. We could use them ward of any mortal from discovering us.

So to break this down into tasks, you would be doing this in order:

Step 1) Create a forest biome and all that entails. Create trees and perhaps a few tree-dwelling species.

Step 2) Create a system of underground caverns beneath the new forest.

Step 3)
Enchant the forest with Nature so that everything is healthier and lives longer. Also make it so that things grow larger than they normally would, including animals.

This would naturally take a while so depending on the rolls you might get interrupted by the Titan of Air in order to go greet the Titan of Earth.

Does this plan sound good? If so do you want to transform this valley into a forest or go find somewhere else to do this?

I say keep this area sort of a nature preserve and dont mess with it anymore go make a forest elsewhere. Keep in mind we will need to create animals built for a forest ecosystem.

OK OK I just want to state a few things viruses are a no no no they naturally evolve naturally to fast and could evolve rapidly out of are control. Parasites are a no no they could easily cause eco-system balance issues. We need a completely different type of apex predator to keep eco-system in balance. So i propose a crustacean based predator so I will submit my design later.
On the other hand...our ecosystem unbalancer is sentient. Apex predators won't stop it for long...

+1 as well as
Use one Aether to level up in Nature and then give the Primfantes a natural affinity (as in subconscious use) in nature magic to make them more likely to support you when made sentient. Also, try and find/call the ToA to go exploring with it. Possibly open communications with ToW as he would make a great ally and a terrible enemy.
and
I still think we should make a species that acts as our eyes and ears because information is important.

Working on the update now, though it seems dinner is ready so I'll have to postpone the update until after that. As a consolation prize here is what happened with the Primfant overcrowding situation:

Primfantes Expansion
1d100 → [82] = (82)
Success

During this time Primfantes population explodes, spreading to all corners of the continent. Any place that can support a colony houses one. With this huge population explosion massive overcrowding occurs and the main complication to the success of a colony comes not from the environment or other animals, but from other Primfantes.

Soon after this happened a new dynamic emerged, colonies started invading territory belonging to other colonies and stealing their crops. The workers would gather together and head out in a large party towards one of their competitor's gardens and some would aggressively scare off the Primfantes of the other colony while other workers hauled off as much food as they could.

Specialized Weapons
1d100 → [22] = (22)
Failure - No warrior form, only raiding by workers
.

These conflicts almost never broke out into actual physical violence but instead when the Primfantes recognized the superior numbers of their enemy they would retreat. To facilitate this the pheromones of the Primfantes started to diverge even more, while before you could always tell when a Primfant was from another colony but not much more, now the differences in identification pheromones where much larger. Each colony had a very different colony identification pheromone which they broadcasted very strongly. When a larger group of raiding Primfantes invaded they would all pump out an extremely large pheromone signal identifying their colony to intimidate their victims. This behavior encouraged the raiding victims to flee by making it easy to smell how large the raiding party was by the strength of the pheromone signal.

((If they ever become sentient this will create some interesting warfare behaviors. Like gathering large armies to show off their logistical power but never having the armies actually fight, with perhaps a few very skilled fighters on either side meeting between the armies and fighting in duels to show off their martial prowess. When the duels were over the army with the weaker fighters and lower logistical strength would then surrender. Perhaps their would be huge corps of engineers so that the army would launch an overwhelming invasion into part of the enemy's territory which would scare off the defenders in the area, and then the engineers would quickly fortify it and the army would sit there.

All in all a very passive-aggressive style.))

I wouldn't be surprised they will start using indirect warfare  since they wouldn't probably be effected by the strong pheromones used to ward off enemies.

With your work on the Primfantes complete for now you instead decide instead to focus your efforts on turning the valley into true home for you. You spend years designing plants, none imbued with any supernatural power but the effort of designing so many takes time. Over the course of 18 years you labor in the valley, using your powers liberally to spread the growth of your creations. Finally it is done and you survey your effort.

The first trees now grow on Gaea, and with it the first forest. The valley is now covered in dense woodland, and among the branches of the trees many of the small creatures that lived in the valley before make their home. You also manage to design a few new creatures: deer, mountain lions, and foxes. Of these both the mountain lion and the deer are larger than any creature you've made before. The foxes take over the roll that they Leapers used to fill, but now with the trees the leaping predator finds it more useful to prey on the animals in the trees. Leaping from tree to tree this animal quickly adapts to it's new niche.

Primfantes Expansion

When a larger group of raiding Primfantes invaded they would all pump out an extremely large pheromone signal identifying their colony to intimidate their victims. This behavior encouraged the raiding victims to flee by making it easy to smell how large the raiding party was by strength of pheromone.

In the valley however:

The Primfantes of the valley, now called the First Forest, are posed new problems by the deer and the mountain lions. While the deer don't invade the gardens when there are Primfantes working them, the Primfantes find they have to spend much more time watching over their gardens then before. In addition the mountain lion proves much more adept at attacking the Primfantes flocks then the Leapers. While the Primfantes can defend their flocks against the foxes they often loose some of their flocks from the mountain lion attacks.

These complications ensure that while the Primfantes of the First Forest are still going strong, they aren't as explosively successful as they were before. This means that the three remaining rival colonies in the First Forest spend most of their time dealing with the problems of their habitat and rarely raid each other.

You stand on the slopes of one of the mountains that surround much of the First Forest and overlook your work. The first part of your plan seems to be a success, and with a look down at the ground you ready yourself for the next part.

Create a network of large caverns under the First Forest.

Den
1d100 → [16] = (16)
(Failure) - Bad quality Small Den - Awful Quality Entrance

The process is extremely slow going. You have no actual experience with working with the concept of Earth and so using your divine powers has miniscule results, and most of the work has you physically digging out a den for yourself. The entrance is awful and you have to be careful when exiting or entering so you don't collapse part of it, and the den is cramped with barely any room to turn around.

This simply won't do, you gather yourself to try again.

Improve the Den
1d100 → [68] = (68)
(Minor Success) - Poor Quality Medium Den - Poor Quality Entrance

You spend some time enlarging your den and improving it's stability. Both the entrance and the den are now stable, though not exactly pleasing to the eye, and your den is now large enough for you to maneuver in. Deciding that it is good enough for now you move on to creating more large caverns connected to your home.

Create Cavern Network
1d100 → [78] = (78)
(Success) - +1  Good quality Large Cavern

1d100 → [93] = (93)
(Great Success)- +1 Good quality Large Cavern
- Neophyte(1) DM in Earth

1d100 → [52] = (52)
(Minor Success) - +1 Good Quality Large Cavern

1d100 → [72] = (72)
(Success) - +2 Good quality Large Cavern

1d100 → [66] = (66)
(Minor Success) - +1 Good Quality Large Cavern

You really start to get into the swing of things and within a year start to get a handle on the concept of Earth. With this power you can carve the caverns faster and produce more stable and eye-pleasing caverns.

Over the next year and a half you manage carve out more large caverns, each of them a good example of craftsmanship. With six new large caverns, each able to house a small ecosystem of their own if you so choose, you feel like you have really gotten a handle on this! This overconfidence is your downfall.

1d100 → [3] = (3)
(Critfail!)

An overzealous application of Earth sends a pulse of power through the First Forest. This pulse weakens to earth throughout the First Forest and also sets off a minor earthquake. The earth nearest to the origin of your blunder, the cavern you were trying to create, is weakened the most and is destabilized by the earthquake. With a crack and a rumble you look up to see the forest floor falling down on you.

Tons of rock, dirt, trees, and very dismayed forest creatures fall on top of you. This force would have crushed you completely if you were a mortal. You however are a Titan, a divine being greater than any mortal, and after the dust settles you quickly dig yourself out completely unharmed.

You walk around and take a survey of the damage your blunder caused. All of the previous caverns you dug were well crafted and all of them managed to survive the earthquake unharmed. The same could not be said of your den and the entrance to the cavern system, both of which were damaged by the quake. Your entrance had collapsed and blocked off the way into the cavern system.

-Luckily-, you thought sarcastically to yourself, -this last attempt at a cavern has created a second entrance!-

The site of the disaster has created a large sinkhole in the middle of the First Forest. The tunnel connecting to the cavern system can be used as a makeshift entrance for now but looking at the pile of dirt, rocks, and trees at the bottom of your new sinkhole depresses you.

A quick attempt at clearing out another tunnel to get better access to other parts of the disaster site reveals that the earth in the valley is still cursed with weakness. In order to do any more digging you will have to remove the curse. However considering your Neophyte abilities in Earth you aren't very confident in your chances of successfully removing the curse.

You leave the cavern system and see that thankfully the rest of the First Forest is fine and only the part above the cavern you were working on collapsed. You sit down and think about what to do.

Creating Life: (6/20)

The First Forest(Base):
Poor Entrance(damaged)- A rough-looking entrance into the cavern system beneath the First Forest (Currently blocked off)
Poor Medium-sized Den(damaged)- A rough-looking Den for your Titan to rest in and receive visitors. It is currently large enough for you to maneuver around in.
Good Large Caverns(Unassigned)- A large underground cavern of good craftsmanship, capable of housing a small ecosystem. It is currently empty.
1 Sinkhole- You probably want to fix this or do something with it. It's frankly depressing staring at your mistake.

Form Description: A large 4 legged creature, visibly similar to a turtle in appearance, but being mostly composed out of various forms of plant life, with the legs made mainly out of bark and clinging fungus, it's knees are formed from a oddly stretchy and durable cluster of vines, connecting the lower part of the leg to the upper part, the underside of its body, underneath the shell, has a large green crystal, which shines with a bright green light the more life is around it,with the top of its body, it's shell is mainly a massive amount of leaves encompassing a large root system below it, connecting the shell to the body, it's head is a dense cluster of dirt with a massive root system holding it together, it's eyes are two shining gems and the inside of its mouth has a large amount of bio luminescent fungus and bacteria, it can mostly communicate through telepathy, or control of other creatures temporarily.

How large is the sinkhole?

Design and plant a Great Tree that'll rise up, and out of the sinkhole.
Explore the surrounding area, maybe 50-100 miles around.
Wait for the Titan of Earth to wake, before attempting to repair the earth of your valley.

Well, the tree needs to be big, no doubt about that, twice as big as the TON Mabye, massive, hollow roots as well, perhaps? That would be nice, we don't need any fruits for it either, we only need one oversized tree anyway, and we need large, branching branches as well.

How large is the sinkhole?

It is pretty huge, these caverns are really big. The caverns are all about a mile and a half in diameter, they have multiple large supports inside them to hold up the forest floor. Luckily the cavern you were making wasn't finished before you had your blunder and so it is 'only' a mile in diameter!  :)

Also to throw you guys a bone I'll let you know that there are only three years left until the Titan of Earth wakes up.

Ugh I have so much to do for this before next update! This past turn took 22 years and that's a lot of stuff for me to simulate for all the other Titans. Though I am kinda interested in how the ToD's project is going to go! (Shameless teasing from the GM hooray! :P )

+1 to this. Maybe we could share the space with our siblings? The branches for the ToA and the underground caverns for the ToE?
