Does Toady have a specific day for releasing updates?

As in, actual downloadable game version, not the devlog updates (though I'm eagerly waiting now for the next one :D)
My point is, games like TF2 usually get updates on Wednesdays-Thursdays (not a rule, but that's usually how it goes).

Does it work the same here or are release dates random in terms of days of the week? (not just major releases, tho)

I believe there's a weak correlation with releasing on or near holidays, but I don't know if it's intentional or not.

Considering how rare and far-apart updates are I think deisgnating them to certain days would be a bit pointless. 18 months since the last update? Well it was on a sunday so I guess this one better be on a sunday as well.

What about the bugfixing period? Not sure if there was a tendency to release on Fridays, or maybe I'm thinking of something else.

Really though, the major releases are too long and too far apart to link any particular day.

You were pretty close, the last update was 17 months ago(June 2012), and on a Monday(June 4th).

The last few updates DotW(those apearing on the first page of dev log):
Monday, Monday, Thursday, Monday, Friday, Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday.
So... seems like he doesn't like Sundays, other than that, seems pretty random to me.
