That teleporter could come in handy. Fix all is quite affordable, and the system drone could help... if we have any damaged systems.

Yeah... finding a cloaking device is always sweet - if you can afford it. Else it really would be worth it, single most game-winning upgrade after shields and weapon systems. I'd also advise against repairing just yet - there are quite a few random events that patch up ~5 hull. Not sure we will find one, but hey...

I still say we need to upgrade shields, but then I've, unfortunately, never played FTL.

I'm gonna have to say we'll pass on this. We can upgrade our weapons one and increase power so our buddy in the engine room can make us go faster while we have full power on our weapons which are all powered on. We can save the shields for a later time. I don't think we really need the other systems until we get better drone options, more scrap, and the manpower to run things like teleporters. I'd throw myself into the fray no problem, but then who's gonna man the weapons? As long as we don't have an incident like we did back in training where the enemy boarded us and kicked the crap out of us while firing a glaive beam with a triple missile launcher, we should be good. I think I still got bruises from panicking in the simulator, let alone the scars of the broken fingers when I punched the simulator walls... Did I mention I was good at training until that disaster?

In short:
Elect to not buy stuff. Instead, elect to buy 1 power to weapons and 2 to power.
