I kind of forgot I was running a test game in this thread. Expect either a continuation or a new test (utilizing a system inspired by IronyOwl) soon. Regardless, the few turns we had proved the LH turn based system works for RPGs BUT presents some problems (like choosing attacks when you can't predict range changes).

The system is a lot more different and interesting than regular RPG's. I think it was also more tactical, in a certain sense.

FE7 - The Inn
The four of you arrive at the inn of a small town and sit down at a table.
Malcolm orders a drink for himself while Not Wizard and Flimsy Wizard start arguing about who's better. Cromwell just watches menacingly with his almighty D20 of Destiny in hand, said to be crafted by the Mighty Order of Icosahedronians and infused with allmighty power by them.

You could simply make is so that you only run through a single initiative pass, rather than two like you've been doing.
Also I hope you continue it because I really wanted to see what you did with the guys I submitted to you.

Eye at everyone warily, add 50 pieces of gold to my character sheet, and order a drink of the hardest alcohol they've got, but don't drink it quite yet.
