Our kingdom consists of master animal trainers that have enlisted many of the local wildlife into our cause. We have birds that drop oil pots, sword wielding monkeys, fierce crocodiles with tough hides and amazing swimming skills, and of course elephants.

Ps: my animals aren't mounts, they are infantry alongside with the human infantry. Well at least the exotic ones, horses are still mounts.

EDIT: I just noticed the "be serious" part that you wrote down and I hope this isn't too outlandish. I will write another one at your request if it is.

There is a tactical advantage to having monkeys that can use swords though. Trees become an amazing vantage point.

Sounds a bit like orks, to me, what with the giant war beasts donning scrap armour .

Personally, I just like skirmish-charge cavalry tactics with the bow and lance, such as those which were practiced in ancient Sarmatia/Scythia.

Like archers, or horsemen, or something.

Scout division with short recurves and horses.

I'm thinking more along the lines of Berserking warriors. Our soldiers are bigger and stronger then the other nations, but they not only require more food but cannot wear heavy gear as it hinders them from raging. They also specialize in axes and spears (simple weapons) and the throwing versions of these weapons (javelins and tomahawks/throwing axes). They also have a decent sized "navy" (small boats for carrying troops with (I'm thinking longships)) as our nation is separated from the other nations by a large body of water (hence the Blue nation for our aquatic side). We DO lack in sieges however since its hard to carry and move siege equipment over bodies of water. Also, due to our nation being on an island, we have a harder time sending messages

Otherwise, I like the idea of a stealth and mount based nation, but...

I think they deserve the special mounts. Plus with them being like Carthage with war elephants, we need some advantage on them... Naval based? Hell yeah!

Our army specializes in blunt weapons. We have high quality maces, flails, warhammers you name it. Most of our weapons are strong enough to bust holes in castle walls just by striking them them multiple times. Imagine how they treat knights armour and shields.
