Start the checkers game by quickly giving pieces, but line them all up for one easy chain of takes, which should cripple him.
You manage to capture a few pieces, but the 15-dimensional nature means you made a blunder.

You lost more pieces than you captured.   But don't worry, you've only tapped into 3/15 dimensions, there's still plenty of pieces left.

Line the black candles up on the scythe, put the scythe into the middle of the pentagram, and then melt orange candles and green candles onto the pentagram in order to expand it into a decagram.

You transform the pentagram into a decagram.

START RESERCHING TO SEE IF WE(THE PLAYERS) ARE ALL ONE PERSON
You are.

Arrange sticks into hexagram before some idiot can make me do a decagram

Put a candle at each point

Light candles

Bleed everywhere

Chant eldritchly

You make a hexagram. you are calm enough to consider gathering up additional sticks to do this with.

You are not panicking, so it is reasonably well designed.

You grab red candles, as these are standard.

You light the candles.

You are not bleeding right now, however, you smear some of the still-wet blood onto the sticks.

You call out to Uhluhtc! "Uhluhtc! Uhluhtc! 6ecvb@! Uhluhtc! Uhluhtc! jio jin biopsy yspoib! Uhluhtc!

+20% resurrection!

-your sanity slips just a bit further.

Suddenly make an awesome move which turns around the game. If it fails, slip my hand over the table, knocking the checkers out of place. Oops.

oops!

That was a trap. You lost a disproportionate number of pieces.

You sweep away a 2-dimensional slice of the pieces.

As it turns out, this was a perfectly legal move.  Urgl is impressed with your use of it.

You are also close enough to life to manipulate the situation.

Keep sweeping away several dimensions worth of pieces. If the entity stops becoming impressed start kicking it in the guts until it shows some damn sign of impression.

Dance around the Hexagram to continue reviving Coolrune.
Integrate some steps around the Scythe+Decagram in order to attract and capture evil spirits and convert their energy into power to revive Coolrune

Take the Scythe and slather it in wax, before lighting a white candle on the top.
That should keep away any evil spirits.

Keep sweeping away several dimensions worth of pieces. If the entity stops becoming impressed start kicking it in the guts until it shows some damn sign of impression.

It is only a valid move under certain situations.

The entity waves a tentacle, and the pieces go back to where they were before.

You try to kick it, but trip on a tentacle that came from the 9th dimension.  It chuckles.

It tries to explain the situations under which the move is valid or not valid, but the descripsions are INCOMPREHENSIBLE to your current frame of mind. :(

Dance around the Hexagram to continue reviving Coolrune.
Integrate some steps around the Scythe+Decagram in order to fend off evil spirits and convert their energy into power to revive Coolrune

you begin to dance.
+6% revival!

-you somehow grab a really weak evil spirit from the decagram. It attempts to possess you, but fails to chip away at your sanity.  You convert it into power!

-the fact it was channeled through the scythe means the energy pushes coolrune back away from the living world. -3%

Take the Scythe and slather it in wax, before lighting a white candle on the top.
That should keep away any evil spirits.

Well done!

You have repulsed the evil spirits! Your sanity is much less at risk now.

However, it also weakly repels coolrune.  -1% every turn after this.

Agree to a draw with the being simply because my brain is starting to sputter. Attempt to interact with the real world enough to slap the scythe away from the idiots.

Throw out the scythe. Continue dancing, weaving a complex series of manuevers from one circle to the other. Trace blood from the larger circle into the smaller more functional circle, and then track it back. Dance in a pattern that stamps a trigram into the ground with the decagram at one corner, the hexagram at another, and Coolrune's body at the third. Then change tempo and draw a cross-diagram to turn the trigram into a second hexagram. Chant at the top of your lungs.

Take the scythe back and attempt to corrupt it by exposing the blade to the black flames.

The being chuckles, but agrees.

You put out the flame on the scythe.

Take the scythe back and attempt to corrupt it by exposing the blade to the black flames.

You fight with coolrune for control!

The use of the decagram destablizes the entire ritual, nullifying its effects!

Also, your blood is now quite dry.

Beat down E/D, then fling the sickle at the evil spirits. Start absorbing them to aid myself in being resurrected.

Beat down E/D, then fling the sickle at the evil spirits. Start absorbing them to aid myself in being resurrected.
(hidden roll)

E/D's previous action is canceled utterly.

(hidden roll)

You can selectively filter Ed's next action.

The rest of your action is null, as the evil spirits have already fled.

SO, ARE WE(THE ONES SUBMITTING THE ACTIONS TO THIS GAME) ALL JUST ONE PERSON?

There are two controllable beings.  coolrune's ghost, and the avatar of the players.
