The rivers were definitely passable last turn, and are definitely passable this turn. Maybe there's some funky interface thing going on making you think the rivers weren't passable?
Yeah, but you couldn't have killed him anyway. Vengeance of the Dead targets the unit with most kills, and he had relatively few. I knew PMS would get targetted in case of VoD, but him being a prophet I was pretty certain he'd be able to resist it, what with all the bonuses in friendly dominion.
By the way, it seems the rain lessens Solar Brilliance effects? It barely damaged your undead at all.
I still don't get the Foul Vapours thingy.
Bharath had 91 kills as of last turn, PMS 89. He barely edged out PMS for kills.
Solar Brilliance is MR Negates Easily. I make a habit of casting Antimagic whenever possible, and even when I don't longdead horsemen start with MR 10. You'd see more luck against Ermor's soulless hordes, but soulless are only useful for dying (again) anyways.
I had no idea Stygian Rains actually cast Rain too, though, that's pretty cool. I think casting it lost me that battle, unfortunately. I would probably have killed more of your berserked mages, anyways.
As for Foul Vapors, you just didn't give your commanders enough N gems. Amitayus and Darghasana both had 2 gems and spent both on Serpent's Blessing.
EDIT: By the way, guys, but Darkwind especially: can we agree not to use single scout units to siege forts? That always seemed to me in the same exploity category as using single commanders to move-block armies.
No problem! I honestly hadn't given it much thought but I'll stop.
