You need a level in a non-priest path of magic to benefit from communions. Has been that way since Dom3. Pretty obscure, huh?

The fatigue the slaves got was probably from encumbrance, and maybe the penalty for not having the spell's paths(priest in this case).

Also, prophet Etimmu with heroic toughness is just so fucking broken.

Not broken enough to handle your armies alone, though, it seems.

Anything immortal with heroic toughness is freakishly powerful. A generic wraith lord summon with it would be just as obnoxious and is available to everyone. Pantokrator forbid one gets heroic obesity *shivers*. :P

Seriously though you could do the same with some luck and death gems. They'd just summon ghosts instead of shades and not be holy/sacred.

In case anyone was wondering precisely how bad the cephalopod infestation actually is:

Agartha has neglected to mention that he has two armies I have been unable to stop inexorably advancing.

Do you mean the two unstoppable western armies that haven't fought a real army of yours, whose most significant accomplishment to date has been re-killing the crossdressing menace to peace and pretender to godhood Leonidas for you, and who your remote rains of trained mindhunting vampire squid are slowly eating away at but haven't (yet) stopped? Who have inexorably advanced a whole two provinces into your territory, and who are to date unstoppable because you haven't really bothered trying to?

Or did you mean the unstoppable eastern army assembled after Celestial Force Collector Cylia's noble but ultimately futile defense of our Special Magical Operations Training school, whose most significant accomplishment to date has been watching helplessly from across the river as your unstoppable army of tentacle monsters takes a break from its own inexorable advance in order to do unspeakable things to our loyal magical schoolgirl sisterbro allies? Who has inexorably advanced from my interior up to the (post-squid-invasion) border, and who are to date unstoppable because they can't actually start moving?

You're right, I suppose I did forget to mention those.

Haha, I got a Tribal King with Heroic Obesity in round 7 and he was scary enough.

I'm terribly sorry! I didn't notice I was about to stale - I was certain I'd sent in the turn, but maybe the distractions got to me (friends visiting, wine happened etc). So sorry, it won't happen again (if I am to decide!)

Well, in the interest of fostering discussion (and/or pity for the monkeys), and since I don't think there's any particularly juicy secrets to be gleaned from it, behold the Hall of Fame as it stands:

I would assume via an instakill effect inflicting 9999 damage; routing from battle as a mercenary does that.

That's a lot of dead giants in the HoF. And of course the only guy I have in there is a smiting prophet.

Back to a two-front war, I suppose. Well, those Vestals weren't earning their keep anyways. I'd like to preemptively thank Bandar Log for kindly donating their soldiers to die in order to be raised and serve Sceleria's army corps!
