I'll start it at 24h, with the implicit notion it'll ramp up to 48h after a year or so.

k put me in for sure, I go for common events. I have yet to run the game so I can't say for the new game-mode or score-graphs yet.

Put me down for Arcoscephale.

EDIT: Info on other nations is disabled please. Also I think FFA would be better.

No worries; your observation was quite valid as I'd actually meant to do exactly that. I can be naive and overly trusting at times, and was thus banking on an assumption that slacking wouldn't occur until players have played long enough to get into an untenable position.

Common events and FFA.

I don't mind if the game starts earlier, but I'd be pretty happy if we could start next monday or later. That would give me -and whoever else is new or rusty with Dominions- a chance to fiddle around during the weekend. As of right now I have vague idea of how to get 6-8 provinces in the first year and absolutely no clue on what kind of pretender I want to make. And then there's everything else.

That said, I do think that time and pressure are the greatest taskmasters of humanity. I learn at the pace you force upon me.

re: disciples
I think that that's something that the guy who announces next Dom4 round will just flat out announce in the op. "3-4 teams, 9-12 players, who's in?"

FWIW, we have eleven votes for throne numbers. Assuming we haven't had interloper voting, that's everyone who's signed up ATM.

16 thrones (12/3/1), 15/21 to win - 4 (36.4%)
16 thrones (8/5/3), 19/27 to win - 3 (27.3%)
20 thrones (12/6/2), 21/30 to win - 2 (18.2%)
9 thrones (5/3/1), 10/14 to win - 2 (18.2%)

It looks like the majority wants 16 thrones. I'm going to zero out the current voting and do a runoff between the top two contenders.

Would you fine folk be terribly cross with me if I expressed my desire to be the twelfth player, playing as MA Ermor (seeing as how you've got all the other Romes already)? I'm not very experienced, this would be my second or third game in MP, depending on whether or not it starts before the massive roleplaying mess on Desura.

Fair enough. Game is up as Bay12GamesRound401, with the 10/4/2 throne compromise; feel free to do any last-minute waffling on nation selection and start submitting pretenders. I'd like to start playing by Monday.

Set magic sites to 55 please! Common events are more common in Dom4, but sites are harder to find. Considering the fact that many people play with order scales, it's a bit harder to get a steady gem income.
