I think you misunderstand, I'm trying to kill my commanders as fast as possible, so someone will destroy this terrible, terrible nation.

I've been subbing Mictlan for weeks now and I am eagerly awaiting its end.
Please finish me off, if you know, can.
I would if I could, haha. And by haha I mean I'm just going to sit here letting elementals futilely try to kill off your commanders until something dies or your other problems actually start tearing up your lands. The really sad bit is I'm fairly sure you actually have more income and whatnot than I do. For a few more turns, anyway.

I feel for you, though, I really do. Poor squidlings have enough research to destroy worlds but no basically casters and no gems to leverage it. I can wreck like maybe one army and then I'm done. I mean, I'm already done, really, just... more done. Could probably get that army of yours off my capital, but even if I did the fight on the defensive with the castle to help out I'd still be losing... lots of stuff. Stuff I probably couldn't replace, haha! So I wait.

I don't suppose one of you lot have the chalice and would be willing to let me borrow it long enough to get mute off my pretender, eh? I can pay, like... two gold. And maybe an astral pearl! One pearl. Don't really have anything else.

Imposing 24h postponement by request, though with LS's current email issues, it looks like the game's getting rolling postponements too.

The patch broke StR, so we probably need to delay until a quickfix patch comes out to correct that.

That's certainly reasonable. I would be glad to get more Grand Thaumaturgs, but I think lijacote might have a problem with everyone but him gaining :P

There was a fix (4.07b) pushed out late last night, but I'm inclined to wait a bit to ensure Llamaserver is patched. It probably is, but I know no ready way of knowing.

In this game, you're probably going to be the big winner from the patch, what with your Throne of the Pancreator finally getting to fully come online...

Patience pays off. 4.07b did not entirely fix the StR bug - it only did so for the first turn. Postponement continuing.

As it's been over 12h since 4.07c rolled out, I am assuming Llamaserver will be patched, and am ceasing postponing hosting. Hosting is currently scheduled for ~30h, on Sunday at 0550 GMT.

Okay, so... in the short-term this is kinda honor-system since it's not easy for your opponents to spot, but... everyone who has a StR commander on repeat-build needs to de-select them as soon as they're finished and then re-select them. 4.07c fixed the StR bug as best it could, but it couldn't deal with current building queues. So if you just had an StR commander (on repeat) finish building this turn, yet when you look in your build queue you see that the next one is conveniently slated to be finished next round, too, you're this PSA's target audience. No exploiting this, please; cancel and restart recruitment for any outstanding StR commanders you're recruiting, and from there the game will work as intended.

I don't think that PSA could have been aimed at anyone but me :P Well, I suppose Mictlan's Couatls are StR, actually. Nevertheless, point taken and Grand Thaumaturg production restarted. I must say, repeat production of commanders is a huge quality-of-life feature for me.

Well, there are StR indy commanders, too.  :P

FWIW, I've seen other people claiming you need to actually spend a turn without repeat recruitment (which I agree, OMG, indispensable; this was one reason (of many) it was torture to still be playing Round 3.15 up through April or so while also playing this round) to get StR back on, though it didn't seem like it to me. Just keep your eyes peeled, and if just clearing and restarting production doesn't resume StR, bite the bullet and turn off repeat recruitment for any StR commanders for a turn.

Oh, pish posh. As you can see, R'lyeh only had a research lead on Argatha for a few turns - I'd say no more than 80. And even though Argatha finally surpassed the squid research-wise, the graphs tell the tale of how all the research in the world won't help when what will almost certainly prove to be the game-winning spell is a national one. I mean, nowhere in MY research tables do I see Undead Nation Mastery, so there's no clear way I can wrest control of Ermor away from Sceleria and make them helplessly, mindlessly grind themselves down distracting my enemies for no gain while I conquer half the disk...
