So, uh, I assume we've all gotten the något gick fel email from Llamaserver, and per the on-server message we were not the only game to go boom, and hence all hosting is temporarily suspended. So I'm guessing we're all going to need to do a rollback once this gets sorted. This is just a heads-up for what's to come, more to follow, all that...

(I'd recommend against doing anything with the new turn we all got, but it shouldn't actually matter if you do because we all staled, and hence there should be something approaching zero useful information to be gleaned therefrom...)

Seems the game will be on hold until saturday:

Johan has given me a quick fix which hopefully will overcome the crash bug. However I'm unlikely to have time to implement it until Saturday, so that's the current ETA. Sorry to keep you waiting.

It's really a shame there was never any chance for lasting peace between us. With your position relative to mine, conflict was inevitable and I was honestly surprised it took you as long as it did to declare war.

The original plan was for him to strike at the same time as Vanarus and me, but Burden of Time threw a wrench in that. I assumed he was being his usual perfidious self, but perhaps some of the wishy-washiness was actually genuine.

No plan survives contact with the enemy, etc. There's been some interesting diplomacy in this game. And there's probably still some yet to come.

All right, let's try to do this rollback. My (possibly naive) plan is as follows: rollback, then try to host immediately. We all have our turns in, so it should work. It may or may not, but if worse comes to worse we can rollback again and resubmit, though that seems perilous.

Well.
I had expected to have put up slightly more of a fight than 'none at all'.

Something interesting is happening with My Own Etimmu in Bandar Log. After this, the forces of Sceleria attacked the fort proper. The results were as you might think, after the previous... event.

Welp. Mighty Abysia has been utterly crushed in record time. If there are no qualms about it I'll be setting it to AI now.

No worries, quite understandable. Thanks for playing, Vortex.

Mind giving me a 48 hour extension? My computer's processor physically broke, so it'll be a little while before I can submit a turn.

How's it looking for the current hosting deadline?

I'll be able to get it in on time, though I've lost what I'd done already. Having to redo all the scripting and movement for the turn is a bit tedious but it's not a problem.

I'm quite glad to finally be at peace again. AIs don't count, no matter how much I may underestimate them (as lijacote has so helpfully revealed :) ). Seriously though My Own Etimmu is a terrifying monster with 180 HP (due to prophetdom), 10% regen, ethereal, shitloads of defense and BV. I'd probably have killed him but my mages were too far back to do anything useful.
