On that note, don't worry, DFNewb, Ermor's capital will fall sooner or later
I do hope it's sooner. I mean, on the plus side all the Mothers of Avalon are turning into crones, but unfortunately, all the Crones are turning into dust!

And yeah, the hosting period is fine, though I almost might prefer a 24h period with quickhost turned off.


EDIT: Well, that's annoying. Do you think you could put the sun back Ermor? My Veteran Longbowmen only have 10 precision!

Why? You've got a fairly large territory to yourself and a decent enough nation. Maybe you lost a battle, judging by your army score? You can still win the war, easily. You have plenty of units left. You're Mictlan, you have plenty of tricks up your sleeve.

Regardless, if you don't feel like playing anymore, just ask for a sub. Going AI would derail the game - not only by removing one major contender for victory from the game, but by providing your prepared neighbors with easy extra territory and introducing a rabid dog willing to attack anything into the region. I have nothing against players who lose interest in the game or don't want to play out their remaining turns, but simply announcing that you're going AI is never the way to go.

I lost, game over. I have nothing left.Been multiattacked and overextended. I keep being too nice and suffering for it :(

I'll admit I'm not even vaguely happy this is happening. Again. I'm glad that - unlike in Round 15 - you're telling us before the turn has been processed, so it might be possible to undo, but I'm really not thrilled that you've gone AI as soon as things got difficult for you. Again.

But assuming you're unwilling to do anything more than going AI... Anyone have enough experience with Llamaserver to know if this can be solved by my changing Mictlan's email addy and having a sub re-submit the turn, or is the server not going to like a resubmitted turn coming from a new address? If this would allow us to avoid having a 16-province AI in the south, I'm all for it. I'm going to pre-emptively postpone processing 24h as a precautionary measure, so as to allow us some time to try to fix this. I can always force-host or do a negative postponement to undo the delay if need be.

So does anyone know if this would be fixable, and if so, do we have a sub available?

I wonder who it was besides me that was giving Mictlan the bad touch, considering my lavamen are drying up faster than I can possibly replace them, thank you Ermor.

Grr, Llamaserver has been lying to me every time I delayed hosting by claiming that hosting delays can be negative to shorten time until we host. So even though there's an extra 24h on this turn, DON'T USE IT! I'm planning on forcing hosting at or not too long after 0414 Monday GMT, rather than waiting for the 0414 Tuesday GMT host time Llamaserver duped me into setting. You Have Been Warned. [Edit: as per the last paragraph's caveats]

[Edit: @Mrhappyface: Okay, wait, since you edited your comment right above this one where you said you'd continue, I have to just straight-up ask: are you still planning on continuing, or did you change your mind again?]

I'm not sure. I mainly did this game just because I was curious about how an WAB major bless would turn out. Actually, it wasn't as great as I thought. Blood Vengeance from B9 seems a bit overrated on the official forums so I think I overestimated myself there. Strength from the minor blood isn't that useful.
A9 is actually pretty useful since precision and airshield are good in all situations, so if you would get that it wouldn't be wasted points.
W9 is also useful since more defence=less chance of dying and quickness as well.
On the other hand, all that isn't that great if you aren't able to kill the opposition. F9 or D9 seems crucial against player led troops due to the fact that they add additional magic damage that goes through armor. N9 maybe useful as well due to the fact it was reworked so it may prove extremely effective for human-esque hp sacreds while it was nerfed for giants. E/S is meant more for thugs/mages imho than something for mass amounts of cheap sacreds.
So my conclusion is that WAB is a relatively effective bless for jags against lightly armored units but not so much against those with armor.

1.I don't think Llamaserver cares about who's sending turn revisions.
2.Are you or are you not playing, Mrhappyface? We need to know if we should be looking for a sub.

I kinda figured the server wouldn't care, but it seemed like an area where it might potentially get finicky. Good to know.

Blood Vengeance was overrated by the fickle masses on the Desura forums, but if you dug down deep into those threads you'd find voices-of-reason cautioning that it wasn't as zomg pwnzr-haxx as blind theorycrafting had concluded it was. It has hard counters (indirect damage, trampling) and soft counters (glamour, boosted MR); it's situationally useful, but it's not, despite uninformed and untested protestations to the contrary, the ne plus ultra of defensive blessings, even for jags or bag-of-HP units.

I'll continue. I'm just bitter several NAPs got broken in 2 turns.
Also, I  think what you said about the counters is opposite. Glamour seems to completely negate blood vengeance, and their are a million different ways to boost MR.
Tramplers on the other hand tend to have extremely poor stats and MR and passive forms of damage are rather poor in killing stuff.
