Europe. For a thousand years, countries have moved and bashed into each others like tectonic plates on speed. Unsurprisingly, pieces sometime broke off. Monaco, Andorra, Liechtenstein and others started drifting along History, making a living as tourists traps with antiquated governments.

But we're in 1933 and things are changing. In Germany, a new government led by a charismatic Chancellor, Adolf Hitler is promising to shake things up and give the country a future, following the example of Mussolini in Italy. Japan is invading Manchuria, showing everyone what the way to greatness is. Meanwhile in the USSR, General Secretary Jugashvili, better known by his nom de guerre Stalin is asserting his power, famishing millions to wipe out the last strains of opposition.

It is a time of strong men leading strong state, and you do intend to follow those great men's path. It is time to lead your fleck of a nation to glory.

This is my take-over of PkGamer's Dictatorship Inevitable. This is going to be an simulation of leading a tiny totalitarian country from 1933 until the games dies. Think Nazi Luxembourg.

People will get in on a "Whatever, I decide, I'm the GM basis".

I'm still working some details out, but basically:

• One turn last at most 48 hours and correspond to 3 IG months
• In addition to building and stuff, you can make up laws, ministry and whatever that will have various effects. This game is half-suggestion game, half-strategy.
• Population will be your most important asset in-game. People fight, produce and pay taxes, but they also eat and revolt. A lot will have to do with managing natality and food production to avoid famine.
• I want this game to start as historical as possible, feel free to correct my mistakes. Later on, it may diverge as you do stuff.
• You can research whatever you want, but don't expect to succeed if you try to make laser tanks in 1934.

I found the map on google, apparently from a website for 8t grade material, although not the one you linked.

I was expecting fictional countries, but Luxemburg is okay. As for the ethnicity... Well, it'd be Luxemburgian in your case. It's mostly useful to know how Nazi Germany will approach you. A small communist country of ethnic german on Germany's borders won't last long.

How did you come to power (Optional): Through powers mysterious and dubious- actually no, he just shamelessly ran on the nationalism Mussolini already brought to the island and secured arms shipments from his friends in Moscow, taking over the government in a coup. How his mad fool of a chief of staff managed to take over the northern tip of Corsica remains a mystery, but France's probably going to want that back soon.

Leader Name: The Glorious Leader.
How did you come to power (Optional): Careful manipulation and blackmail of key figures within Tejekov. Tejekov is technically part of the Soviet Union, but the Glorious Leader has a lot of power.
Major Ethnicity in Country: Tejekovan. Mix of Russian, Belarussian, and Ukrainian features. Most distinctive feature is the Tejekovan accent, which sounds like someone trying to do a very bad Russian accent.
