The tournament was done in EF-12 instead of MUGEN this last time. It was interesting. Always bet Soul Calibur.

The Thing vs Mr Fantastic. So cannon, the chat can't handle it.

Don't think there's any cannons involved with that one, actually. Unless stretchy has some kind of science cannon he pulls out or somethin'...

Barbatos vs Piyokong. Barbatos was doing awful and lost 2 rounds, then Shut Me Up by Mindless Self Indulgence started playing and suddenly Barbatos came back and tied it at 2v2. It was glorious music hype. chat was screaming.

Barbatos lost though. The last round was really clutch. People are still asking for a rematch in chat. I forgot how much fun Saltybet is, oh man.

Yeah, that match. I was about half a second from dropping 27k on Piyo but changed my mind.  :-\

lei lei v. Holy Flandre, odds 1:1.6

I made so much easy salt off of that. I mean really, flandre as underdog? I mean really.

That's not the real goddess Flan, either.

On the other note, I had my all-in on Kanna but switched to Ecco at the last second after I remembered that he likes to fuck AI, especially against waifu spammers. S'what I get for doubting Kanna.  :-\

Yeah, that one got me, too. Actually the first time I've ever seen Ecco lose, out of seein' the critter probably a good 15-20 times, heh.

Yeah, literally every time I've seen him against a Touhou or MRFGRF they end up cowering in a corner all match, but Kanna killed the fish off fast enough to avoid problems.

Oww, I saw that match. Yeah he got decimated.

I've never seen Ecco actually, although I have seen Kanna, so achievements in ignorance.

Ecco's like Fault in that he mercilessly AI-breaks anything that doesn't instantly nuke him.

Bets were down briefly again. Rare Akuma broke them.

I got to see all of Mjolnir and RonnyMarkes money though. Mjolnir - $16106143 (100%), Rony -  $24329942 (100%) THEY may be the richest guys on Salty Bet. The odds were on the three thousand mark.

Nope. IIRC there's a guy with like 3.6 billion.

Also, lost another 27k last night because Ogre decided to job. >.>

Really should have some upper limit that forces rich folk to spend their money or lose it.

One of the rules of economics: rich people fuck up economics. In obvious matches they often take like half the pot.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Well it's not like there's anything to spend it on outside of illuminati.
