To check - does 1 Act (+1) mean I have a single act and gain 1 next turn?
Believe so.

passively diminishes the power of the plague or the Magi.
This artifact shall be given to Neiden.
Don't mean to be picky but the Magi are useful. I don't want to diminish their power, just their influence. They could do a lot for society as long as they aren't strangling it with their magical fists of iron. Hence why I figured me casting miracles would make their magic seem less special.

Also, I can't help but think about how artifacts can be taken by force or guile. Having something like that on my person would just make me a bigger target for people who want the power of the artifact for themselves. Directly giving me abilities is probably better for my survival overall.

Edit: Actually this conversation might be a little too metagamey.

From my understanding of Ascendence, I can't just do that.  It requires extraordinary means to become a God, rather than just claiming a font.

I knew that when making it, and apotheosis was not my gambit.  Freedom was.
Freedom is nice. Also Ascendants are fun because you can't just use god solutions for everything. It might be more fun for you this way at any rate.

Aren't the Magi basically enslaved to the kings?

On one world, yes. On another, they're mostly dead. On the third, they've set themselves up as rulers.

Yeah, I wasn't planning for them to try to kill everything too, kinda similarly to Liram-Kin, however I fixed that problem.

Calling me creature of chaos is both arrogant and ill-advised. Don't go around making enemies.

I was only helping to liberate a being that seeks freedom. God of justice that enforces tight grip of gods over mortals and stripping them of free will - I would think that calls for a corruption of one's own sphere.

Ooo, I'm feeling like there's some action coming around the corner. I'm pretty sure the ascendant automatically gets use of the font (should he claim it) because he's actually there. Otherwise, ascendants would never get to claim fonts because gods could just whoosh in whenever they feel like it and claim it right before the ascendant can with an act.

That said, no one actually spent an act to free said ascendant, they all just spend acts claiming the font... so I'm not sure how that'll work out.

In my eternal sense of "Why the heck are we clogging up our inboxes when we could be discussing it in the open?":

Dude, just stop. I do not want to talk to you, you do not take part in the case at hand, so stop. And try working on delivery, not talk to me out of nowhere. Do some RP, I might just as well ignore you, since you are talking to no one in the void.
We're gods. We can be everywhere and anywhere. We aren't tied to physical forms (yet).
And, perhaps more importantly, Neyravah isn't interacting with anyone because his personal garden is completely separate from everything. It's boring.

If we can be anywhere, I can just as easily ignore you at no consequence. no offence but your talk makes no sense to me. That you are bored is of no interest to me either.

good point, amending it now.

Sorry, I just realized it was pointless what I was saying and I'd rather cut frustrating discussions short.
