Trust me when I say they won't want to engage you directly. I had a game where the reigning top god of the moment who'd taken down the last Overgod try to kill me, along with Udil who wanted to be a god.
I killed all of them before I died with all of my creations.

Correction: Udil who became a god.

Damn, I will never live it down 8)

And you never should!

HW:  I'm honestly waiting on the justice god to explain his reasoning, because it largely sounds like circular self-justification.  Otherwise, it looks like it might be compromise time.

2: Animation, and apparently accidentally killing mortals.
Heh, I've been there.

Damn, I will never live it down 8)
No, you will never live down the game where you were a backstabbing Marty Stu who never showed evidence of anything negative ever happening to him.

HW:  I'm honestly waiting on the justice god to explain his reasoning, because it largely sounds like circular self-justification.
In the end, isn't that what justice is? Sure, it starts with morals or what a functioning society needs to function, but in the end the people who make the laws are listened to because they are the lawmakers.

Actually he kinda did. Wasn't really a marty stu; don't think that can actually happen in these games. Totally backstabbed people though, but that's expected in god games.

He had no reaction to losing his kingdom, his wife, his child, or even to being in constant unending torment.

And it sure seemed like he was a MS. I explained why back in the Pantheon thread at length. Repeatedly, if I recall correctly. Basically, he was always successful and never had to deal with the consequences of his actions, which were always stuff like dead family that he could ignore or else completely nonexistent.

Happens in the real world.
Anyhow we're kinda beating a dead horse again, then skinning it and using it as a punching bag full of organs.

That doesn't mean that it should happen in stories. Especially when those stories are games.

That doesn't mean there's any reason to be obnoxious about it. It's a different game.

I'm not the one who brought up Udil.

Anyway, we should get back to discussing the current round of backstabbing and fratricide.
