Neiden's nationalism and willingness to risk divine war by persecuting the followers of other gods is also very scary in an indirect way, but I have a gut feeling that next turn could go a long way towards taking care of that once and for all. *shifty eyes*
Aww common lovable Neiden?
I won't deny he dislikes most of the other gods and got pretty feisty with Feros but realistically could you blame him? Neiden's people have been getting raided by "Sun Demons" from Feros for ages, getting infected and killed by Namqua's goons for a long time as well and then there's you creating monsters and sort of being associated with some of Namqua's followers as well. The Fisher god is the only "good" god according to Neiden's perspective.
Also, I don't recall ever actually ordering the persecution of other god's followers. It might have happened through Neiden's followers but he didn't specifically order it (edit: err, well I suppose the plagued are someone's followers but he didn't specifically say attack X god's followers). Yeah the civilized aspects of society are a little messed up and exploitive... but I mean can you judge after your character ordered two different species to try and exterminate each other? You've caused far more blood than Neiden or his "empire". I'd say your character might have more in common with Neiden than he would like to admit... They've both ordered genocides.
I'll admit there are alot of similarities between our characters, but the main difference is in with whom the meddle. You mess with the Children, who, for reasons I only partially understand, seem to be of some interest to almost every god out there. Any change to the Children or their status quo will inevitably piss somebody off.
I don't think too many except me, and perhaps Namq'ua or Feros to an extent, give a rats ass what happens to the beasts, especially the plaugeridden beasts. I ordered the bloodletting, and nobody had any problem with it, or if they did they kept it to themselves.
ICly, there is likely no love lost between Teskort and Nieden. OOCly I fear his present path is the most likely cause for any sort of future divine war. At some point it will piss some god off to the point where they will have to attack him directly if they want to stay in character, which would then provoke a response from The Fisher god, and then we'd be off to the races with divine warfare.
If Teskort's actions provoke somebody to violence, there is nobody really to watch his back or retaliate on his behalf. Any aggression aimed at Teskort will likely be resolved quickly.
Now when he meets me, and the chaos/justice duo he's probably gonna get more bloodthirsty.
Any IC issues Teskort has with you or the law/chaos duo takes backseat to other things going on. I hope. We will have to see how that develops.
