So the Magi have the ability to store and use essence like a god which equates to them having magic like abilities. How would that contrast with what an ascendant is capable of?

Edit:

OH and Iituem,
GRAB THE FONT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
BECOME A PHYSICAL GOD!

I mean, if you want to.

Edit 2: I really want to have some interaction with the other ascendants at some point.

Past-me can be different than present-me.
Evidence does not support this hypothesis.
1. That's harsh, man.
2. In a philosophical sense, past-me and present-me can be considered different entities in the same way your left hand and right hand can be.

Hopefully Not An Act: Become Bound.

Quote
One may become Bound either by creating an avatar, with it's power directly correlating to the amount of Acts used, or via ascension.

You shall be a weak physical god indeed.

All of a sudden the gods have flipped in power.
The stronger ones (Me, Nam'qua) have become weaker, and Teskort and Neyvarah have become stronger.

And I'm still weak and have just surrendered control of my horde of sun demons more or less....

I'll empower you again through a strengthening of religion. Going to make a request from you though to make it easier on myself.

OH and Iituem,
GRAB THE FONT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!
BECOME A PHYSICAL GOD!

From my understanding of Ascendence, I can't just do that.  It requires extraordinary means to become a God, rather than just claiming a font.

I knew that when making it, and apotheosis was not my gambit.  Freedom was.

Another Act every turn wouldn't hurt, though. You'd be on the same power level as a god, more or less.
And the methods of becoming gods aren't detailed at all. Claiming a Font and being worshiped might be enough.

Oh.

To check - does 1 Act (+1) mean I have a single act and gain 1 next turn?
