Why not have them fighting as well?  Different groups fighting each other as well as oncoming swarms of demons sounds interesting.

Sell Pistol Holster(3/2=2) and Six Shooter(3/2=2). Buy Knife to a Gunfight(3), Tomahawk(3), and Bullet Time(3).

((5+2+2-3-3-3=0; This should be fun.))
