Correction: Were on Theme Hospital. Those 1000(!) games sold like hotcakes.

EDIT: And Duke Nuke'em 3D is just kinda crawling along. I honestly a bit confused by it all.

Unfortunately, as is the case with Steam, all the games that are available are games I already own, sooo =p

About 50 free Wing Commander games went in a blink of the eye. I've been trying to get some free games since the event started (have today off) but haven't managed to snag anything. I've given up due to the combination of bots and myself being on the other side of the world of the servers.

I know that feeling. The closest I got was for Masters of Magic, when I got a blank screen instead of the regular "Try again" message.

Yeah, every time I see a free game offer it gives me an error message.

NWN2 complete is up, 80% off. Really good price and game even if it's just for Mask of the Betrayer. Pick it up if you don't already own it.
That was fast. I think GOG has discovered a very cunning sale method which would explain why the event is going longer than it was meant to.

I'm hoping for a Stronghold sale personally. They're regarded as classics and I still haven't played them. After playing a bunch of AoE I really want to play a defensive heavy RTS.

Didn't realize GOG sold this many games - they're really cleaning up. Would be interesting to see their numbers, and Steam's.

Divinity: Dragon Commander on sale now for $22.49, with about 23 copies left.

Going kind of slow, figures, I've never heard many good things about it.

And to be honest, I don't see anything significant about the sale. There's only 3 games even on sale, from what I see on the front page.

It changes. The sale exists only as long as the game is on the front page with the descending counter. So the sales page doesn't show you all the games that could be on sale in a few minutes.

the page from Tropico changed, Wargame European Escalation for free appeared with 400 units, i clicked "buy now" ... "we're overwhelmed by popularity of service" , went back and it's already gone to the next game.

lol, looks like you need lightspeed reflex :D

It was, apparently, just 10 units. I can't even get to the timeout anymore and just get sent to the "this deal is over" page now.
There have been some people boosting that they've been using scripts/bots to gain some games. One guy on the forums claimed he got 12 copies of a game using a script but I think that's a bit dubious.
