"Joey stuck around as in, he's waiting for you right now? Also about where we are...we came from a nice place. We're looking for somewhere safe."
Lirian cast a glance at Cromwell and motioned towards the fireplace for a talk, later on, if he wanted it.
The kid sniffles and looks outside the window once again. This time, it seems as if he is actually looking for something out there. Maybe looking for Joey, if he is still around.
"He might be around still, I don't know though. He picks his own time to come bug me. I'm not sure if he's still interested in me or not."
At hearing what you said, his eyes brighten a little and he looks your way. With a tone of curiosity he asks, "Somewhere safe? You mean you don't have a place to go right now? Are you lost?" He brings his knees close to his chest and thinks to himself for a little bit.
"If you can give me those papers, I might be able to get you a place to stay for a little while. My friend can help you once I deliver those papers.
"My name's Deon, by the way. Nice to meet you."

"Liri, and I'll check for you. My friend will stay here instead."

In truth, Lirian was quite wary of helping or giving her name to the child--but after all, he was a child, and from what he had just experienced? She didn't see much from concealing anything from him.

Though she was interested in this friend of his. Where was he at this hour? That and the ideas of what that kitten said earlier was interesting her.
Tilun?

Keep to the shadows to inspect those papers. Watch and examine the house for any descriptive ornaments or idea of how the culture is, or probably anything to give a better idea of the place.

Examine Cromwell's kitten.

((Oh, I put "The iguanas close in themselves..." Yeah, that might have been hard to understand, sorry. They didn't actually vanish, they are still freaky and giant and hungry for Drake meat.
Again, you have access to the surrounding forest area and the wetlands, which may provide cover through the marshes and water. You can choose to fight or flight here, it's your choice, but remember that these iguana mutants are actively seeking you down.
Also, use your imagination. You're a Guardian of Reptiles and Life, you can try some hidden powers if you want, provided that random.org is on your side.))

Alright. Not much to work with. Just my two bare hands, miles of desolate wilderness, and vaguely-defined but presumably mighty and versatile supernatural powers. Not looking too good.

Attempt to turn the iguanas back to normal. If that fails (okay, when that fails), run and try to get the local flora to ensnare the monstrous "lizards".

Cromwell returns Lirian's glance, and nods understandingly.

"Yeah, don't worry, she knows what she's doing."

Cromwell settles in and gets comfortable.

"So who's your friend that you mentioned? Oh, and you can call me Jack, by the way."

Cecil shivers unconsciously, replying out loud to the maleficent voice around him, "H... Hello. Who might you be?" He asks, trying to keep his cool.

((That's alright, I'm sorry for failing as a GM, I'll try my best to make it better from here!
Speaking of which, after everyone submits their next turns, this will be the end of chapter 2. I feel like Atis hasn't seen major change in the past few turns beside the Zero Form Battle, so I will fast forward a few days to keep the drive on.))

((Don't apologize, you're a good GM. Maybe not the best, but this is an awesome game that I'm just not interested in. You should feel rather proud about what you've done. That's all.))

Question for all of you. Before this next update gets delivered, I need to know something: Would you like the updates to be more frequent (with maybe a small drop in quality or length), updates to be more refined and maybe longer (going to take longer to update), or do you think a week is fine? I need to know because Finals are coming up and, after Finals, I want to set a good pace for all of you.

Thank you and the update is in two days,
Artemis

Orange is my answer.
Also, good luck @Finals! :D
Also personal note: As long as the GM keeps on running this, 99% of all your players will stay. I know. I've run mind for 2 years due to conflicts IRL. And they stayed. ;_;

I'd rather the updates to be more frequent :) Thanks.

More frequent updates would make it easier to remember what's going on.

I'm quite used to infrequent updates, thank you. Keep the pace the way it is if possible, extend the waits if needed.
