Leave this ghost town. Attempt to clear all images of the dead city from my mind. Locate a forest, and have my hole.s strike the earth.
((I assume you mean golems?))

"If you're going into town, wouldn't you be beaten up by those two we saw earlier?" Lirian asked. She seriously wondered why there was any evidence of a dangerous object in the child's area, especially given the lack of safety devices around. Though if it was handled easily like a courier does, then either it must be a trick to gain curiosity, or something as simple as a warning label.
"Could you tell us more about Esthenis, by the way?"
Deon thinks it over in his head and says, "Oh. Hadn't thought about that one. Well, if one or both of you came along, I don't think they'd be a problem. Besides, those jerks only hang around the shadows where they won't be seen. Believe me, the whole town isn't like them two. "
You look for any reaction in his face when you bring up "Esthenis." Maybe he knows something about it that he isn't telling you. Unfortunately, he looks just as confused as Cromwell does at this moment.
"Esti.. Esther... what? I 'aven't heard that one before. My friend just told me to bring some papers, and that there might be some boxes there too. I didn't get to see that before I was dragged outside again." He rubs the back of his neck and suggests something else. "Maybe my friend knows about it? You could ask once we get there, but I don't know anything about it."
Yes, I meant golems. Sorry. Spellcheck.

(is there a limit on how powerful we can normally become, or is zero form always going to be more powerful?)

((Zero Form is basically your overdrive at the time. You will grow in your power overtime with use and more understanding about what you're exactly fighting against. You may have other Zero Forms later that will scale based on your normal power.))

Will I get a zero form? I cant imagine what it might do.
((Story and OOC-wise, Initial Zero Forms are quite random and triggered by an extreme "fight or flight" response by the Guardians, hence the dual trigger seen in Yourmaster and USEC's cases.
Later on, if your character develops enough with their powers, you might be able to control when and where the Zero Form happens. There's even a little surprise ability related to this stuff later.

Some Guardians do not even develop with an Initial Zero Form, sometimes they mature and jump straight into the Zero Forms with ease, and sometimes they don't even get a Zero Form, ever.

What happens during a Zero Form, however... well, the destruction of Atis is one example - and that was at the beginning. Imagine what happens when your powers grow.))

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

Speak!
((By the way, little clarification thing here: in most cases, putting an action means that you've finalized your turn and that you will wait for the next update. In this case, since you're just speaking, you could just dialogue, but if you want to wait for the update that's alright.

Just a note for the future.))

((It's just so I make sure that you actually want dialogue rather than having your turn's dialogue come with the update. It makes it easier for me to sort through the actions and get what I need to resolve done. If you're not happy with that, however, I can interpret the actions manually.))

((I can't see this next bit as being anything more than an action so)) Cecil nods his head ever so slightly. Y-yeah... Yeah okay. He stands a little straighter, trying to assume his radio-quality voice in his posture as well.

What a silly name to call out in one's sleep, Eh Ah thought. As well as slightly ominous. In fact, that serious child also appeared fairly ominous. Perhaps saving them was inadvisable if they were going to be like this. He steps over to the awakened lady.
"Your dreams sound rather exhilarating," he mentions. "I am Eh Ah, and I hope that you do not mind that I moved you to a different location. Your current one seemed somewhat unsuitable for habitation, given the rain of lava and ice."
((Pardon my tardiness, I've had to spend some time preparing for finals.))
You wait for her to calm down a little bit more before soliciting a response from her. This takes some time, as she was incredibly startled by her ill nightmares.
"Uh... wha... who are you?" she asks tentatively, not having processed your name yet. "Who are you.. and why did you say it was raining lava and.. ice? That sounds silly..." She is not even convinced by her own words. She looks down to her children and gasps a little.
"Oh, thank God... Artemis, Selene, you're all okay!" She grabs her children in a protective hug and stays there, not noticing you for the time being. The boy looks up with a scared look on his face. "M-mommy? Are you o..okay?"

You hear a voice from the backyard, through the screen door. The small family does not react.
"Oh, hell. That's not good. That's totally not good right now."

Alright, since we're about halfway to the next update: after the dialogue for Harry and Tiruin concludes, this will be the beginning of Chapter Three and the three-days-forward thing. Compounded with my finals right around the corner, I might have to take a bit more time to do the update, but I'll have this update as a priority nonetheless.

Also, does anyone know where Onyxjew went? I haven't seen him active for a while, and he was really playing a big part in the storyline.
Thank you and hope you all have a good day/night,
Artemis.

"Well, I am currently a vagrant and it is indeed raining lava and ice. You can go outside to check if you wish. Also, we were invaded by a very ill-considered empire and bombarded for a bit. That may be of interest as well."

"Well, I am currently a vagrant and it is indeed raining lava and ice. You can go outside to check if you wish. Also, we were invaded by a very ill-considered empire and bombarded for a bit. That may be of interest as well."
She calms down a little bit, but is still very tense, as far as you can see. With a heightened tone she asks, "So it wasn't a dream then? The Theyins... they're here?" You confirm that this is true and she deflates a bit. "But... the nightmares... are you saying that those gods are real? She picks herself up with a great deal of struggle and stumbles over to the front door, opening it and staring outside at the battle going on between the two wielders of ice and fire. Said battle is also dying down at this point, as it seems that the attacker with lava and fire is being beaten by the ice kid.

"So the nightmares were right," she exclaims with disbelief.
"This is all real. Those monsters were real. But if this was truly real, then..." she hurries over to her younger daughter and grabs her by the hands, holding her close. She also speaks to the boy at the same time. "Selene, Artemis, listen. I want you to stay inside. Mommy is going to talk with this nice man outside for a little bit, okay?" The boy, who you assume to be named Artemis, nods quickly. "And don't listen to the voices. Just keep your mind clear, please. I love you." She gives both of them a kiss on the forehead and leads you through the back door screen.

"I cannot thank you enough for helping me and my children. Is there anything you need right now?"
