Of course, if anyone manages to successfully grapple her, doesn't mind getting taking a smack from an oversized insect to try and push forward, or goes after her low, low Will save, she'll probably be in a spot of bother, but that's why allies exist, to cover weaknesses. :3
1. That requires them to be able to grab an oversized insect.
2. Technically, they have to be at least Large before they can occupy the same space as a Tiny creature. Unless I'm remembering the rules wrong. Besides, that's where improving damage comes in...
3. Yeah...allies are good.

What difference does the loads actually make?

They slow you down and give you penalties to some rolls.

What difference does the loads actually make?
They force you into heavier armor categories without actually using armor. If you wear heavy armor, you can carry a heavy load fine, but if you carry a heavier load then your armor, you take armor penalties for it.

3. Yeah...allies are good.
1. True, but it's still not impossible.  My greatest protection from that, however, is not my AC, but most people's reflexive reaction to the thought of opening the Grapple rules. :D
2. Tiny creatures are an exception to that rule, if for no other reason than because they can't attack anything not in their square (except with the reach houserule).  I will have to deal with attacks of opportunity every time I try to enter someone's square until I reach Level 9 and qualify for the Underfoot Combat feat, though.
3. Definitely.  I'll need to figure out which party needs a flying brick the most, though. ^_^

What difference does the loads actually make?
Medium load reduces maximum DEX bonus to +3, gives a -3 check penalty to certain skills, and reduce your move speed.  Heavy load reduces max DEX bonus to +1, gives a whopping -6 check penalty, drops your move speed, and reduces your run speed.  Basically, if you're hauling lots of stuff and can't pick up a Handy Haversack or Bag of Holding, put it all in a backpack so your first move when entering combat can be "I drop my backpack as a free action."

EDIT: My, my, beaten twice-over. ^_^

And you take these penalties or the ones from armor, whichever is greater.

I spent almost a thousand gold on something better than a Handy Haversack.  I bought a Divine scroll of Animate Dead and made 4 Butlers.  Optimization at its finest.   8)  (Technically, the scroll would make 10 (15 with my domain), but I assumed that I'd have to spend the money for the material components, seeing as they were special entries.  I also wouldn't be able to control more than 5 of them.  (I originally thought it'd be 7, but it turns out my interpretation of something was awful.))

Edit: On an entirely unrelated note; did my winterberries make the cut?

All google searches for winterberries bring up a, presumably really awesome, bar in London called D&D. You'll have to remind me what you're talking about? I'm not Dwarmin, so I really can't say yes or no either way, though.

It was a somewhat random suggestion in this thread.

Oh!

Well, I liked it then and I like it now.

For what it's worth, that's the same thread as this one. I just renamed it to better suit its new purpose.

Edit: Though, I imagine there are probably a few cemeteries, scattered about between the various totems and the like.

The particular selection of words to serve as hyperlink were not chosen arbitrarily.

No worries.  I should have had an emoticon with the previous message, I just kind of forgot =p
