May I ask what race the Azure Swordswoman was?

Half-blue dragon fighter. Chaotic neutral, tending towards good. Not sure which it'd be.

Vest of the Archmagi for one, is a +8 armor bonus to AC on the torso slot. While that may seem rather particular to the two 'of the Archmagi' items, my take is that the core material suggests a shirt could have an armor bonus to AC, alas it'd be 50% more costly than usual, due to the mismatched affinity.
But the affinity matches.

You need a very specific interpretation to claim an enhancement armour bonus is a 'physical improvement'. The one AC bonus that might pass for such is natural armor . Then again, the shirt slot is the very same one for armor, which may often enjoy said enhancement bonus, though one may as well claim those are inherent to body armor in the torso slot and conditional upon positive base AC. In the lack of a better ruleset for someone to present, it seems like more of a balance choice to be made by the GM(s).
The same page I sent GWG is the same page I'll send you to.  Page 234, Magic Item Compendium.  Armor Bonus +1, Slots: A, B.  Prereq: Mage Armor.  Price: 1000gp.  *A = Arms, B = Body, et cetera.

Well my guy was wandering in the wilderness. Meeting you would give him a reason to end up at Oasis. The reason i ask about the race is that he used to hate humans. If that sounds alright I can PM you some more details on the backstory.

And then it would also make sense for our characters to be in the same adventure, so if you agree then I'll join Dwarmin's.

In other news, I'm going to drum out some starter quests-after poring through D&D cityscape-and will probably start my thread in less than three days.

Anyone who wants to specifically sign up for my part of the campaign, which is going to be centered in the dense urban of Oasis, do say so via PM or post. I'll only take a maximum of six however-and consider the other GM's too. :P
I would sign up, but the party looks more in need of some kind of tank than a druid :/

Unfortunately, the designated tank build wants to play in Tk's sandbox. No offense Dwarm, but I just can't resist the siren lure of having Tk as my GM. :P
The last time someone referred to me as a "siren" I woke up half naked in a motel bathtub.
plz dont

It looks like I'll be focusing on the more forested areas in and around Oasis, but I'm the sort of GM who regularly makes people both venture and sally, so please don't let that dissuade you from going along with me if you'd like. There will be more than trees. I'll steal dwarmin's thread's OP wholesale to edit this one's with information in a little bit, since that was asked for, and then get an IC thread made up for my side of the coin I guess? It's going to be a bit, I am very hungover and very tired.

Edit: You get bonus points from me- they do nothing whatsoever- if you combine backstories with someone -not- in your designated group, people!

In that case, I may well sign up to yours. More out of city stuff is a tad more suited to a druid, anyway. just lemme sort combined backstories out first before i commit.

Does that count whether or not you're in tkparty?

I believe I will tanksmash for Dwarmin's party.

The useless bonus points thing? Yes. I just like to watch character building.

I don't mind :P

I'll have to think of better quest alternatives then 'make all the monsters immune to magic' tho.
I think my character would be best suited to yours, so far.  Heck, I'd even fit into Hightown automatically with my classy clothing and personal attendants.

Edit: Except a Paladin has already joined yours.  Bleh.  Well, would make for some exceedingly interesting party dynamics, and he'd be adventuring with me, not specifically my butlers.

My char is an aasimar paladin with an obsession with justice and the color red. Also, a slight sadistic streak. She's a templar/crusader sort of character who blames mages for the apocalypse-- anything more detailed I'm waiting on Silcugar's pantheon for. Oh, and I deliberately gave her the most incomprehensible surname below 14 letters that I could still pronounce. (Kydaera Yvaepriithrixt. It's the name of her celestial ancestor. :P) If anyone's interested in being backstory'd with me, do tell. :3

Also, Giglamesh: I'm pretty sure your Constitution modifier applies to HP gains on level-ups as well. If you only gained 1hp on your first level, then you should definitely be gaining only 1hp per level.

Well, to be fair, I don't know that that'd be a problem. I'm not even sure I can cast Detect Evil, for that matter.
Backstory is that he was a sort of orphan taken in by a paladin order, and he doesn't really have the full battery of paladin training.

I think you should have 12, and I think putting them into Bluff and Concentration (especially) would be best. But someone who knows what they are talking about should advise.
