It sounds organized, but I imagine there's some group, maybe the druids, probably one that sometimes hires adventurers, that is making it that way. It's probably very ramshackle, building-wise, and filled with strife- though secretly to some extent. The names for each district came about from the populace's psychological needs for some sort of normalcy after the collapse.

Hum.  So I have my (Level 1) character mostly built, although the low gold value is disappointing (can't afford a certain scroll (and components) to start this off properly, although I suppose starting off with a 2HD Skeleton who has +4 Strength would be a little much.)  Although... is there a common consensus for starting gold?

Argh, five pages of updates...

First-I don't want us all to have different starting levels. I'll relent and put my campaign to level three. Sorry if it makes everyone redo their sheets a bit.

WBL for 3rd level is 2700 Gold

As for the refinements upon the map, I generally agree with them. Just because there's a 'council' and sectors of industry doesn't deny the underlying chaos of so many races forcibly brought together-my original plan was that the council was really only powerful literally in their own egos and their well guarded mansions-they're pretty much figureheads. I would imagine GwG's stuff as the tourist brochure...come to sunny Oasis, you'll never want to leave, or even be able to. :P

It just lends some much needed solid background to the setting, imo. You don't see urban decay on the map-it's in the world, suffering so oft writ upon the faces of the hopeless and damned.

Here we go.

I'm hoping there's no problems with it?

Weird is good. I like it. Unless one of the GM's points out a glaring exploit-I'm not experienced in spotting them-I would see no problems.

One thing-you'll have to give me a primer on how you make/repair/buy?/control undead. Or point me to the book/source it's in. Mostly for personal interest...most people ban leadership, I mean, since if you have a dozen followers (or skeletons) you can effectively nullify encounters with waves of bodies while making your GM's roll for all of them while ignoring the rest of the players.

I'm interested in your backstory, too. I hope it's more than wanting to destroy or conquer the world. Since, It's already destroyed and there's nothing left to conquer. You must admit, your char is pretty much campaign ruining potential if played in a certain way. Hopefully he's not too depressing for a Necromancer. :P

Purchased Divine scroll for Animate Dead, 625gp, CL 5 = 75% chance of success on casting.  200gp worth of Black Onyx (which means I did miscalculate stuff, but I have enough leftover money to fix it.)  As a Dread Necromancer, I can heal my Skeletons at a rate of 1 HP per round with Charnel Touch.  My Deathbound Domain allows me to have up to Character Level x 3 in Undead (when created from Animate Dead).  I control Undead with Rebuke Undead.

His most basic backstory is: he wants to bring peace to the city, through force when necessary, but does not want to force the living to adhere to his wishes, as well as to extend the borders in the future.  Long term goal?  Totally become a Councilmember.

Interesting.

In our story as written, you'll essentially be competing with Andromalius's in his sphere of influence...

I had considered doing an evil character, but that would have necessitated an entire group of evil-ish characters to avoid screwing things up too badly.

Maybe one of the other GM's will run a more 'evil-friendly' campaign, but mine personally will be more neutral or good aligned. Maybe I could allow a lawful evil, well written. But I dislike what amounts to forced player conflict via the alignment system.

Since being CE by itself is usually just an excuse to troll the other players, IMO. You're so worried about screwing everyone over you forgot to RP, oops.

Can you get a masterwork healer's kit?

Also, I'm sure I saw in a book someone linked me to once that you can get alchemist arrows? Or some arrow-based alchemy-delivery system? Anyone any ideas if this is true/where it might be?

Aaargh. I don't know how to level up. From 1 --> 3 you get a another feat and more health. More spells. Any skill points?

Skill points+INT mod based on your level in that class

You get skillpoints per level based on your class.

Assuming you're still playing a sorcerer...

http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/sorcererWizard.htm

Skill Points at 1st Level
(2 + Int modifier) × 4.

Skill Points at Each Additional Level
2 + Int modifier.

is the information you're looking for. So if you have, say, 12 int, you'd get 3 skillpoints per level after the first. If you're human, you get an additional 1.

Arms and Equipment Guide.

Thanks. Would I need Craft Alchemy and... Craft Woodworking to craft such arrows myself?

edit: hmm, 75 gp for an alchemy arrow with alchemist fire on it, but only 2gp for an arrow with a thunderstone? A bit cheap?
