Might as well ask now. Given that you're on Greenlight (and probably going to get on Steam proper) what's the price you're going to be asking for the full game? Have you decided on that yet? My wallet's asking, y'know.

We haven't decided yet, but it will most likely be within 10-20$ range. The decision will be heavily influenced by the advice we expect from Valve, if we make it to Steam. Then again, if we ever make it into a humble bundle..  ;)

Hello people! I figured it was a high time for an update, in case some of you are still interested in our little space artillery funbox, Interplanetary. Surely thanks to some of you guys, we passed Greenlight in January, and now the game has been very recently published in Steam Early Access!

Since some of you were interested in pricing, we decided to go for $9.99 in the beginning since the game is still lacking features. Since we just released the game on April 18th, the game still has -50% launch discount until the 25th, so $4.99 for the first week. The game will of course remain in active development, and we are still open for questions if you have any. :)


Fun fact, I had this tab open in Chrome since my last post in December. oO

Cool, I ought to buy this. I've already had a good bit of fun playing the latest build (where defenses actually work) on LAN with friends. My only gripe is that the actual victory condition takes forever to get, so we usually just call it a game when we have a clear winner. Maybe if the goal was to destroy three out of the five cities, or maybe you should lose when you have no resources and no guns. For that matter, an official "surrender" button would be nice.

Excellent to hear you've had such a good experience with the game already. I think from what you told that's probably the optimal environment to enjoy Interplanetary, I'm almost jelly. :D

We will later include game setup options, you could for an example start with only three cities for a quicker match. Different victory conditions are also a possibility. We are also planning a streamlined "arcade" (for the lack of better word) mode where  the game is balanced for quicker turns. Surrender button is also a planned feature.

I know that feel, we actually have a workable (96KB/s) Wireless DSL type thing here but the ISP said "Sorry not profitable enough to provide service so we have to find to find something that actually works here. (We'll see on the 7th if we can get actual DSL here which would be a HUGE improvement, it better because its either that or mobile broadband which when we tested only got 10KB/s here and would cost 60 USD a month...yeah...)

Game's on Steam, early access, rapidly approaching release with a few post-release content updates planned.

Gameplay is super fun, it's KSP with ballistics, so you just hurl orbital lines at your enemy and just slam their planet.  It's pretty great.  2 player is really fun, I'm super excited to see if we can do some 8 player pure chaos matches.

MULTIPLAYER is steam compatible, there's a lobby and game list to enjoy.  Game time anywhere between 20 and 180 minutes once all players are familiar with game mechanics.

Oh, there was a thread for this game? I'm a fan of how the devs have handled the game so far, and obviously the game is fun. Never won a game of it ever but it's the taking part that counts, eh?
And yes some Bay12 multiplayer action would be cool, I think.

It's fun if you can get a game. Last time I tried I got 2 games in as many weeks, but things might be different now.
