+1 It's better to be the pedophile then be married to one.

I cannot fathom why, considering Elodie is 14 and that boy is 12 :P

Yeah, but Elodie will be 16 when the boy is 14.  Or 18-16.  So yeah, not really a big deal.
Still fun to marry someone a bit younger, plus our children will inherit the crown and whatever lands that entails, our father's duchy (assuming we outlive him, heh), and now our husband's duchy.  So more consolidation of power.  Plus, the boy is already used to taking orders from others, so he won't have any trouble obeying his Two Year Older Queen-Wife totally and completely.
+1 to marry.

True, but there's some caveats to that sort of planning.

Oh, and except for the first note, none of that is actually spelled out by the game; it's just extrapolation on my part on what would happen well after the game's events.

Screw it, marry the poor kid. Another meat shield for the assassins is a good thing, right?

Marry him. No-one can get in our pants if someone else is already in them, right?

Duuuuude. I doubt a 14 year old girl's first reaction would be "Yeah, sure, I'll marry this boy who I've never met!"
Maybe I'm crazy. I dunno. :P

Oh, so he's not old enough to marry, but he is old enough to live in our house as our "companion." Mommy didn't happen to die after kidnapping a handsome peasant whose fiance came to rescue him, did she?

This thing is all sorts of out of date. Barracks is +1 Pressured, -1 Willful; Dungeons is +1 Willful, +1 Angry.

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.
