Girls certainly like pretty things, and we cannot disclose anything that might indicate marital affiliations. Also, is there anyway to obtain new clothes? A school uniform is not the outfit of a proper lady.

Gods, it's a little hard to remember, but I came to this part where two people got all pissed off and I chose to delay the situation thinking I'd get another shot later after increasing skills. I think it involved letting that young dude hang out with his relative that wasn't already in control of a fuckton of land, where he SERIOUS FUCKING SPOILERS dies, from what I infer, by the relative.

What that actually did was incite civil war, and we lost, meaning I was Prisoner Princess.

I have a goal, and it's to kill the Duke of Marie, in the upcoming ball. To accomplish this, I require Flattery, Swords, and Athletics. Other goals are to stop the snakebite and come to a peaceful option with the Duke of Marie via punishing that one queen or whatever, forcing her into commoner-itude. Forgot what stat I needed though damnit.

Huh. I didn't get the trigger, guessing Flattery wasn't high enough. Having fucked everything else up this run, I'm going back.
Snakebite prevention requires at least 10 Composure.
I think I require 30+ Novan History, maybe it was Foreign Affairs? One of the History things, not World...in order to peacefully end the Ixion stuff without making the creepy Duke of... erm, Sedna? attached...
Then there's the need of very high Flattery, as well as 30-ish Swords and Athletics.

Nah if you have the right stuff then you get a "threaten with war" option or something similar that goes into a skill check. Pass it and they withdraw without any future penalties showing up.
