Though to be fair, there were a fair number of slam-dunks in previous voting stages. Usually nowhere near this level of unanimity, but often very, very far in the lead.

Brave Sir Galahad gives us Yielding and that bonus to Royal Demeanor we need to learn how to do proper Queenly activities, like maintaining our poise even with poisonous snakes around our ankles or staring down our enemies with nothing more than sheer force of will.

On the other hand, talking to pops works just as well, though my vote is still for the former. ^_^

Hmmm, I was going to put it in an edit at first, but did we ever explain how mood works?  Because most of it is in the OP, but one particular important bit isn't.

Basically, the first part we all know is that our current mood is determined by whichever mood has the highest score.  Right now, we have 1 Afraid, Yielding, and Lonely; and 2 Depressed, making us Depressed.  The critical part happens in the case of a tie - your current mood is determined by priority from left to right.  Angry and Afraid will out-rank Cheerful and Depressed, which out-ranks Willful and Yielding, which out-ranks Pressured and Lonely.  Manipulating this is key to getting your skill boosts where you need them when you need them. 

In this case, if we go to Court, we get +2 Yielding, +1 Depressed, and +1 Pressured, making our highest scores Yielding and Depressed (3 each).  Since Depressed is to the left of Yielding, our final mood is Depressed.  If we Play with Toys, we get +1 Cheerful, +1 Yielding, and +1 Lonely, making our highest scores Yielding and Lonely (2 each).  Since Yielding is to the left of Lonely, our final mood is Yielding.  Since everything's within 1-2 of each other, this also makes our mood much more volatile, letting us change our mood when we need different stat bonuses quickly.  It also means our mood will be more likely to change based on events as well, but...

By the bye, Attend Service also breaks ties in this manner - it always tries to reduce the left-most mood with the highest score.  That means it will always work to try to change our mood.
