Ahhh Anime mental health at work.

In that... people's sanity is as safely secured as a dog next to an open jar of peanut butter.

Visit Charlotte and try and get her onside. She could be useful against the Demon Witch that is Countess (She's even called Countess!!! What a giveaway) Lucille.

xD.

Well, anyway, if we're going to talk about evil witches, we all know that poison is the first to mind. We must figure out how to fight against these evil conctions at once!

That and visit Charlotte. Look, you can either have fun, or be emo or do work. Should be pretty obvious, no?

Weekend 1: Super Non-Stab Sleepover!

Supper non-stab sleepover is go!

D-don't like it too much! Your home is fine! Great, in fact! No need to be more than the Duchess of Merva!

And yes, the mother-friend exchange rate sucks.

She would know.

Of course, on the off-chance that she's NOT planning to have us brutally murdered, if we let anything happen to her precious daughter she'll definitely start. And let me tell you, the only thing worse than losing your best and only friend is losing your best and only friend and then being murdered by their vengeful relatives over it.

I guess... gaining a friend you can hang out with makes you happier?

This game is weird.

And thus was our weekend well-spent hanging out with our cousin who's mother will likely murder us to see her daughter on the throne. I'm sure Charlotte will feel really conflicted about that in retrospect.

But it's another week and another set of classes in the meanwhile! Speaking of which, I wonder if this means our father just has an archery master on call on the off chance that we pick him instead of the other thirty or forty specialist tutors he's got around.

Of course, this is the fate of the entire kingdom we're talking about. "Excuse me, a dance tutor can't just sit around for three weeks" is hardly a good excuse for cutting corners on that note.

Ah, but you might notice her Depression and Fear are tied now, which... means Fear wins, I guess? The +0.30 on Animal Handling makes me wonder if they're both applying and averaging out or something, or maybe that's just gone down because we've already studied it recently.

Whatever the case, we've got a new set of modifiers and actually know how tutors work this time. We're ready for anything!
Except things that hurt or require more than a rudimentary knowledge of dogs and birds or any knowledge at all about anything else.

Wait, let's get our priorities straight. Do we want to stay alive? Because if we want to stay alive, it kind of limits our choices a fair bit.
If I'd wanted us to live I probably wouldn't have made a point of playing this game completely blind.

Or suggested we name each iteration so we can keep track of them.

Oh, and by the way, I have now taken it as an absolute mission to kill the princess whenever possible.

That being said, you'd do well to heed my advice. When I'm not trying to kill you all of course.

Disclaimers~ Disclaimers~

I think we should work on our moral general flexibility. :P

EDIT : Mainly because I have no fucking clue as to what it entails.

Also, I think it's a good idea to focus on areas we get a bonus in at the time, to maximise xp gains. :)

You fool! We should have kept Elodie depressed to maximize skill gains! You ruined our plans forever! *grumble grumble*

Anyways, might as well go with flexibility and dance until we can scare the shit out of a 14 year old girl and mixmax the hell out of the game!

((If you can't tell, I am joking. Still voting for flexibility and dance though.))

Hey, now! Depression only increased certain skills. I'm sure if we can get the Disgusted - Nirvana axes aligned at -0.6, we'll have a +3.00 to Found New Religion. Ron Hubbard all the way bro's!

Nah, they nerfed that to +1.00 in the lastest patch. So if you're trying for one of the quick religious skill tricks like I think you are, then you're in for a much harder game. Of course I don't really care too much since I always max out my megalomania and thus take the Fascist Dictatorship route with its Cult of Personality. Plus I do love me some Blackshirts...

Week 2: On The Topic Of Ducks

Classes go off without a hitch, and with an ever so slight bonus due to knowing how puppies and falcons work.

I can't be the only one who gets real nervous at commotions outside the palace before our rule has been cemented.

Interesting. I'm thinking... NOT here to murder us, but rather mentor figure. Notice that she's apparently a Lumen, so some kind of mage.

On the other hand, Ursul isn't the nicest-sounding Duchy.

Oh.

You know, for somebody who can spot a murderous seductress a mile away, I'm sure in a hurry to get us killed by a witch.

Delicious drama and information.

I like her.

Well, if our mother trusted you...

...of course, she is dead...

Hm. Decisions, decisions...

Speaking of which, this is likely to be our first truly Queenly decision.
