Guys, quick reminder, he wants to meet you at noon, which is next turn.
Also, do you want me to put the time frame of each turn at the beginning/end of said turn?

That would help. Just do the experiment then.

"Dave, would you be so kind to meet with the man, and explain that the head of research is working on a time sensitive project, and as such can't meet on such short notice? Just hear him out, and report back to the rest of us with his offer."

Fine. Malaria will use a fish then. But she will move on to a rat if that doesn't yield results.

((Okay, I just made an impromptu calendar.))
Spoiler: Calendar (click to show/hide)
Turn 7, 12:00 PM -3:00 PM, Weizen 26, Year 327

Alexei continue with the furnace. Looking forward to baked or grilled, flavoured rats.
You manage to finish the furnace. It looks like you did a decent job, for using just whatever happened to be lying about. You've seen better, but that doesn't matter. This furnace is yours.

Hmmm, I going to make some money today! Purchase lemonade, glasses, and sugar.
((I'm going to assume you mean lemons.))
You go to the market, and are able to get what you need for 20 Steinmarks. You return to the lab bearing the fruit(heh) of your labors.

take a tiny bone sample from skelekitten, and give/feed it to the plant
The poor thing doesn't really seem to want to have bits cut off it, but you insist. Once you get a sliver, you drop it in the plants pot. You think you see it twitch a bit, but it doesn't appear as effective as the blood.

Fine. Malaria will use a fish then. But she will move on to a rat if that doesn't yield results.
You cut open the fish that Green Beard gives you, and then carefully move place it on the plant. The plant immediately reacts, and begins to creep over top of the fish carcass. You notice the fish's skin squirming; it looks like the plant is even growing inside the dead fish.

Also, you are allowed to name things if you want to. It's your lab, and you don't have to call it "the crimson plant" if you don't want to.

Time for a shopping trip. Without telling the others what he is doing, so that there is no reason for them to interfere, Derpus visits the butcher to take a few buckets of blood off his hands.
You sneak off to the local butcher, but it doesn't appear that he hoards the blood of the animals he's chopped up. You wonder why. You tell him that you brought your own buckets, and you can wait. He begrudgingly agrees to let you catch the blood, if you promise to go away afterwards. You gather up two buckets of blood, then return to the lab.

Thank you Malaria give her my smallest fish then sell rest.
You go to your market and begin to peddle your wares. You manage to sell a bit more than half of your fish, and make 40 Steinmarks.

In that case Dave quickly changes into his best clothes and heads to the market square.
You change and go to the market. Once you get there, you see a rather forlorn looking man, maybe in his thirties, in the suggested meeting place. You walk over to him and ask,
"Are you Erik?"
The man perks up a bit at your words, and replies: "So you did show up. Yes, I am Erik. Let us go to somewhere a bit more quiet, so we can talk."
He leads you away from the crowded market, to a sleepy street on among some small houses. He then begins to explain his situation, saying, "These new... Occurrences have brought me into a regrettable state of affairs. The night after that strange wave passed through town, I woke up to a crash. My wife was gone, and a window downstairs had been smashed through. We were very happy together, and I doubt she'd just leave without a word, especially by jumping out of a window. If you agree to help, I will agree to sponsor you. I will give your company 300 Steinmarks a day, if you help me find my wife."
That is quite a significant income, so you agree to the terms for now.
Erik begins to leave, saying, "Maybe you could start by asking around town if anyone saw her last night, even though it was rather late. Her name is Katharina, she's a little bit taller than most, with blond hair and very light blue eyes. She means the world to me, and I need her back."

Draw some basic two dimensional geometric shapes and experiment upon them. Also, I'm all for helping potential sponsors.
You draw a square, a triangle, and a circle. You then proceed to experiment with the ruler. The square and the triangle both glow briefly, and then vanish. Next, you try the circle, and...
Eureka!
The circle begins to glow, and continues to brighten. Then, a bright ball of blue fire appears, and hovers a few inches above the center of the circle. It remains focused there for several seconds, giving off light and heat, and then begins to fade and dissipate.

I go out and find an artist to make a sketch of this woman to hang in the market saying "If you see this woman please bring her or information of her whereabouts to Steinheim Laboratories. Any information leading to her discovery will be rewarded with 300 Steinmarks."

Alex, after getting the information he needs from Dave, heads off to Erik's house. When the door opens, Alex doffs his hat and rattles off an introduction. "Good afternoon, m'ssieur. I'm Dr Alexander Kyrby, Lead Investigator of Steinheim Labs, here about your missing wife... may I come in?

Look around the house for clues-footprints, the smashed window, and way something could have made an entrance, then work from there.

When Malaria hears about the missing woman and sponsorship offer, she gives a stern nod. "You guys feel free to take the direct aproach with Erik's wife if you wish, I'm going to follow something that may be related... The flaming vanishing horse. Is anybody here good at tracking? Or should I hire somebody for the job?"
