I'm willing to bet they mean the special gm only map that tells them what and where everything on the ship is. So by losing the map, they lose the layout of the ship as well.

The map will need re-making in full, so as it stands I'm trying to claw together the motivation to do that before proceeding. I won't let this die out of hand, but I can't make any promises about a certain update date. Sorry!
