It was only a minute into his first mission and already the mission's success depended on Edgrick's tantalising skillset. He beamed in delight and strode forward.

He tried to surreptiously set the laser cutter to bright pink as he approached.

He grinned as hard as he could at everyone as he walked past.

Sneak up on the door and attack. Don't just cut it open: cut it out! With both laser cutters at once!If it looks necessary, cut out the bit of wall next to it too.

Wilson's face lowers in an unsure frown. Not that anyone could see this show of uncharacteristic disappointment, of course, given the semi-opaque helmet cover.
"Don'cha think we may want to coordinate just a bit? By... well, letting him do what he will before going with the whole slicing and dicing plan?"

Regardless of whether or not the group gives him an answer, he moves over near Oz to watch over, provide a (probably unwanted) second opinion and offer a bit of help, if need be.

Scion didn't really pay much attention to the Wilson character. She was focused on getting this door open and managing their timeline. She didn't want to risk other... "businessmen"... reaching this ship also.

"Uh huh. Please keep your distance, we don't want any suprises here. 'cept for Edgrick, he has to open it."

She felt the wall for any vibrations. She was at least truthful when she said she didn't want any suprises.

Change action: press the buttons on the north wall.

Come on, Wilson, let's stay out of their way. I have a bad feeling about this anyway. Get ready to dash back into the shuttle if necessary.

Anjuum didn't seem to flustered. Gravity was predictable, after all!

He took out his pad and began powering up his drone, giving it commands. He had named is RPEG-an acronym for an utterly unpronounceable technical term.

"RPEG, prepare for scanning! You are my scandrone, and are highly functional, indeed, all concur. You are a good Scandrone with the latest software, you are truly. Anjuum processes positive emotional cognizance to you in hopes of obedient reciprocation, despite your relative lack of sophisticated emotional circuits."

The drone beeped back at him in what was perhaps affirmation, and it's 'eye' turned light blue.

Action: Prepare my Scanbot to go in and gives us a look inside when the door is popped.

Wilson gives a nod to Oz as he backs away from the door.
"Right, right... Just expected the girl to have a touch more respect for the folks she's working with."

Be on guard. If anyone starts flying out into the vacum of space, grab on. Check for anything useful

Turn Three: Gatecrashing

Oz switches on his helmet lights, says his piece and prepares to push the conspicuously simple-looking door control buttons while Wilson presides, but Edgrick zips across the tiny room with gleeful enthusiasm (Initiative 1 vs 7) and sets to work with his cutters, with a flair only a true welding expert could manage. Anjuum, in the meantime, preps his Scanbot for practical activities while Urist looks around the room for anything useful. Turns out that the only thing in there, however, is some space dust and his fellow scavengers (autofail - nothing to find). Anjuum has more success with his Scanbot, which appears to have adequately understood his wishes (5+1). Meanwhile, Edgrick's lifetime of experience shows rapidly as he slices expertly through the steel airlock (8), both sides of it toppling over onto the floor of the adjoining room with a loud clang. A small flying robot and a viridian-haired scout zip through the gap, both of them scanning their surroundings for potential threats - though the bot's inherent night vision grants it a distinct advantage over its human compatriot in the pitch-black interior of the stricken vessel. Only Oz's helmet lamps, which he fortuitously had the foresight to switch on, provide a glimpse into the hallway for his light-disadvantaged fellows.

"Good lil' robot you 'ave there. If you would, have it scan for thermal and gases. The rest of you, be cautious and let's  see what's down 'ere."
Search the southern part, near the windows and the door.

Alex does a quick glance around the area while securing his lifeline.

Edgrick sneaks after his colleagues, hiding in their shadows and selecting light blue as his next laser cutter colour.

"RPEG, full spectrum analysis incoming..."

Action: Scanbot looks for interesting gas or energy readings in the vicinity

Stay close, for now Wilson. Let's see what we have here?

Step to the recently opened door and slowly scan the hallway with my headlamps, north to south.

Wilson shrugs, and silently continues to follow Oz, preparing his welder for use as a makeshift weapon in case of confrontation.
