I get in and out of my truck a few dozen times each day, crank lots of trailer landing gear up and down, crawl under trailers to place and remove locks, usually have to walk two-three minutes to get food or use the restroom and another two-three minutes back...lots of repetitive stuff interspersed with long periods of sitting down. Doesn't sound like much but you really start to feel sore after doing it several days in a row.

I've recently started doing push-ups, crunches, running, and other such exercise because my school's PE thing has decided that it should be mandatory to exercise, outside of school, as homework. And if you don't improve, no A for you!

And also, every freshman has to take PE!

Unfortunately, the asscracks don't acknowledge that I will likely show little to no improvement, because the only evaluations we have are a PACER test, (basically running back and forth over and over) and a sit-and-reach test. I always do bad on the PACER because my exercise induced asthma demands that I stop pretty soon, made worse by the gym's dusty floors, and on the sit-and-reach because the backs of my legs are extremely tight for reason's I don't know.

ALSO MY ARMS FRICKIN' HURT. EXERCIZ I HAIT U.

If you play the asthma card that should get you exempted pretty quick from that sort of stuff. Certainly was that way at my secondary.

How have I missed this thread?

I've got a pull up bar, and not much else.  I do irregular amounts of pull ups, push ups, abdominal exercises, and jump squats, but really, what I need more than equipment is dedication and actual routine.

Might sign up to a gym sometime this year though.

Whenever I feel like it, I have a 15-pound dumbbell that I lift in various configurations, in addition to squats and leg lifts. I use this website to find new ways to lift the same stupid weight, but I'm basically effing around without a clue.

My endurance only really lasts 12 minutes, if I'm having a great day and slept well the night before. I try to run sometimes, but I can barely make it halfway around a track before I'm literally exhausted.

What I'd really like to do is dance, but I haven't found any opportunities except a local club with a pricey entrance fee. I really wish that I had some friends who liked to dance, but I can't even convince people to jog with me, let alone learn a dance of any kind.

Ye gods! I did two reps of the workout I linked in the OP. A day and a half later, I'm still sore all over.

Since my post above, I did two reps of the very same. I can barely move my legs without feeling weird stretching and pulling. Not looking forward to the soreness that's going to come later today :P

You gotta power trough the first few weeks of the pains, after a while you don't really feel them anymore and your stamina should increase quite a bit, even if you don't notice it that much (I only really noticed it when I had to do 20 push-ups right after a half hour warmup before Taekwondo).

I don't exercise that much, not as much as I could, or should honestly, mostly because I can't really motivate myself to stick to a schedule. I do have one weight and  I sporadically use it, and do some push ups and attempt pull ups, mostly because my upper body is laughably weak. My legs are much better off though because I walk up and down hills almost every day (damn hilly city).

I did like 50 jack knives last night because I couldn't feel anything, and eventually gave up, believing that I must be doing it wrong.

I can definitely feel something now. It hurts like hell just to laugh.  :'(

Don't forget about plyometrics, guys. You don't need lots of equipment to feel the burn.

Aye. My only piece of equipment is a gallon jug of water.

I've done full four out of six weeks of Weider Six, a while before my parents, who were training with me gave up on it, and after that I only managed to force myself to finish the fourth week before I lost motivation, but the effects are still there.

By the way, I cannot seem to do situps without unpleasantly rolling my lower back's part of spine on the floor as I lay back down, and resulting in my lower back feeling like it's on fire after I finish the exercise. WHAT DO?!

Did 40 incline pushups today. I know it's not much, but it's more than I've done in a while, and I'm sick.

Get a mat, or do them on carpet. Failing that, put your knees up higher to flatten out your lower back.

I run a couple of times a week (3-5 miles each run on average), and I go climbing (technically bouldering) once a week.  Other than that, I walk to and from work each day (half hour each way), but that's pretty much it.
