World Gen

Anyone got one with a Volcano and a river really close that the terrain isnt in the insane 10+ all over?

Ive looked at various sites but when I use the world gen with Masterwork it looks nothing like what its supposed to be.

Using the new world that is forests and volcanoes I found one in the far upper left corner of the world.  Try those volcanoes up there.  Gave me a map with flat area for building and volcano off to the side of the map using a 3x4 embark size.  You may have to try generating a few times in case a goblin fortress gets put down near it.

Mandelbrot (Volcanos) or Plains or what, I dont see anything that says Forest.

If you use PerfecWorld and focus your volcanism into the non moutain areas, then set it to max volcanoes, you should be able to find a few that work for you.

You'll just want to fiddle with it until you learn what does what. Figuring out what the embark screen is actually telling you can take a little time too.
