I can remember Tau better than Pi, mostly due to a convenient song.

What is tau used for, anyways?
It's 2pi. This is much less irritating to work with when you're doing complicated maths stuff most people don't care about, like plotting sine waves.

Because 2pi makes the calculations harder. The 2 messes things up and forces you to take extra steps.
