As you head to the north, you accidentally activate a trap! Several explosives tumble down and explode in a massive burst of shrapnel and pointy bits. Marzi-chan manages to get into the other server in time, but everyone else is not so lucky.


Data Server - 8.14.XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

This server mostly contains personal data. Unless you're interested in someone's vacation photos, they're not much use to you.

The server has connections to the west, east and south. However the connection to the west is different from the other ones. The walls of the server slope away, revealing a black, inky void and a bottomless pit. Only a rickety wooden bridge allows passage to the western server.

Check on everyone.

Sorry, but... I can't really look at private information without causing potential trouble with my sponsors, so... People are really touchy about what data we collect even though they're the ones limitlessly providing it. It's kind of annoying they'd be so sensitive about the fact we can see their data, just because we're programmed and they aren't!

Turning my attention away from Cheyanne, do best to ignore photos and examine all potential exits very thoroughly.

You examine all of the exits thoroughly. Thankfully you find no more traps, but the west connection looks odd to you. On further inspection, you decide that the western connection is actually blocked by a firewall. The bottomless void and rickety bridge is just a way to funnel data through the correct ports.

Unsurprisingly, you see nothing besides the inky void and the wooden bridge. Firewalls are meant to keep out prying eyes, after all.
