1 Knive and Chaos Crystal to Katana.
3 Knives to Longsword.
1 Knive to SMG.

For my chaos crystal.

Passive.
Chaotic edge : Negates some of the enemies armor.
Chaotic energy : Reduces AP cost.
Blessing of chaos : Increased evasion chance.

Active.
Chaos flury : Allows user to attack at inhuman speeds. ( Basically when I attack I can land multiple blows in 1 move with each weapon I'm wielding. As many as you'll allow. )
Chaos curse : Always the wielder to channel chaos into his attacks causing whoever is hit to attack at random ( So they might hit friend or foe alike for a certain number of turns. )
Power of chaos : Allows the user to bend reality phasing out of existence so he can't be hurt or detected by any sense.

Level up swords.

Ability.
Eviscerate : Stab through the enemy armor and rip out his side to cause massive internal damage.
Garrote : Rip out the enemies throat.

Stat.
Razor edge : Increased damage.
Light weight : Lower AP cost.
Blank : No idea what to put for the 3rd stat on a melee weapon.

Level up SMG.

Ability.
Aimed shot : Target a weak point to ignore armor rating.
Multi shot : Fire in bursts of 3.

Stats.
Long barrel : Increased range.
Frag rounds : Increased damage.
Mag switch : Lower AP cost to reload.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Than I return the list with some numbers in.

As for upgrades, as everyone is a little confused, if the current level is n, the cost in materials to raise the level is n.
So To raise level 1 to 2 costs 1. To raise level 1 to 3 costs 1+2 = 3.
All the materials for one level must be identical - to use scap as an example (sorry :P)
1 crystal then 1 crystal and crest to the heavy armour.
This is fine for the number of materials, but you cannot apply the crest and crystal together. instead you could apply the crest first, and the 2 crystals second.

As for elemental crystals, 1 will raise the level by 1 regardless of the actual current level.
For example, a level 46 item would need 46*material to increase the level, but a single elemental crystal would raise it to 47.

Again, sorry if my explanations are awful  :-[

OK, so 1 cog into SMG
- Automated reloader: Reloading is done without AP cost
- Double barrel - each AP fires twice.
- Shredder rounds: Rounds do a large amount of extra damage does not count for armour penetration

- Ripple fire: fire off the entire magazine as one action.
- Overpressured cylinder: Can fire a round for much higher damage double damage

1 cog into shield
- kinetic converter: damage blocked by armour is converted into AP points for next turn.
- Reinforcings: Shield has extra armour points
- Spiked: melee attacks provoke a free shield attack

- Deployable bastion: Shield has maximum defence for several turns.
- Powered ram: charge forwards and do a stunning attack on a target.

1 crystal, then 2 crystals, then air crystal into armour:

1 ) Flight: On wings of wind, the user can temporaily fly.
2) Invisibilty: The user becomes as clear as air
3) Gale burst: A burst of wind centred on the user knock back and deal damage to those around in a 3x3 square, centred on the user.

And three passives:
1) Zephyr's blessing (I): The air currents have a habit of blowing enemy bullets away from vital impacts, effectively increasing the armour class
2) Air-light limbs: extra AP.
3) Zephyr's blessing (II): The air currents tend to steer rounds just a little more towards vital areas on enemies. Max damage (Or minimum damage?) Is increased.

Okay.

Passives
-Ebb and flow: Return part of the damage back at the attacker
-Aqualung: Breathe water(wait for it)
-Water skin: Increased armour

Actives
-Whirlpool: Pull all foes closer(in a range of course)
-Water prison: Create a sphere of water that drowns around self(Aqualung plus close enemies)
-Flash freeze: Cone of freezing in front.

((Ok, because of how complicated this has got, I'm going to change the rules on upgrading. I'll provide you with a list of 3 options for you to choose from for each level.
As for crystals, I'll provide the lists again.
However, for those of you who have done the lists, they will be the ones used because I'd feel crap having wasted your time.

Dwarmin, you may want to have a glance over the materials invested though, as they still don't quite work. Sorry. if you have any questions, fee free to ask. ))

Wait, so I otherwise wouldn't be able to upgrade my stuff? I htought that was the point of the tinkerer, he can use [mechanical], etc

And I need to be able to generate 1 more AP a turn and i can fire off a full magazine every turn :L

((the tinkerer has three keywords on each utility slot, allowing you to use pretty much any utility items, at the expense of lacking them on the main slots. Gear can still be upgraded without keywords via grindstones too, and when you level your character you can add a keyword to a slot.))

Ahh, so if I had used grindstones, would it have resulted in the same effects? I think I get it. Pretend I used those, then.

Hey! Imma do some quick math.

My Pistol vs Gilgs SMG-let's assume we're just firing away at a target dummy for max AP and every shot hits.

Turn 1
Dwarmin fires three times! (and has three movement remaining)
Damage=0-18

Gilg fires ten times! (two movement left, gun empty)
Damage=0-40 (+2 per shot (?) increases to 20-60)

Turn 2
Dwarmin fires three times! (and has three movement remaining, gun empty)
Damage=0-18

Gilg reloads and fires seven times! (zero movement left, gun empty)
Damage=0-28 (+2 per shot (?) increases to 14-42)

Turn 3
Dwarmin reloads, and fires two times! (and has three movement remaining)
Damage=0-12

Gilg fires ten times! (two movement left, gun empty)
Damage=0-40 (+2 per shot (?) increases to 20-60)

Summary
Dwarmin has done 0-48 damage!
Gilgamesh has done 0-108 damage! (or 54-162 with shred rounds, if it's calculated per bullet)

Gilgamesh can do MORE damage with kinetic converter...

But the pistol has plus one range. And yes, I know pistols are supposed to be inferior to SMG's.

...

I like how I managed to make a gimp char before the system was even tested.

Edit: whoops, missed Zepthyers blessing. Umm, add +2 min damage to all that.
