Arlia felt a bubble of pride swell in his chest as he watched the rest of the adventurers descend the rope that he had so carefully laid out for them. It was a small contribution, of course, but he was pleased with himself all the same. Allowing the others to pass by as he stood at the bottom of the shaft, he eventually piped up: "Could I perhaps be our rear-guard? I mean... I wouldn't be of must use at the front with this bow of mine."
Arlia: Follow at the rear of the group, barring any objections.

Sycamore sighed and rubbed his temples. He could feel the extra wrinkles form already.

"I'd rather keep my torch for now. No use wasting it when we already have a lantern. As long as we keep our eyes and ears sharp it'd be hard for anything to get the jump on us."

Sycamore begins jogging to Artemis, then matching his speed.

"Slow down, kid. I'll go first."

Proceed slightly ahead of the group; shield up, weapon drawn. Listen for anything that might indicate that we're not alone.

Since you fools are going to get yourselves killed anyway, do any of you have bounties on your heads I can claim later once your stupidity gets you killed?
