((Losara, d00d, you missed my action. Not that it was significant, but...))
Which action? I was confident I had them all.
Oh, and now it's there. Either I had a fit of blindness, or you ninja'd me. Either way, never mind.

Derry
Stand around and look menacing in massive plate armour, an executioner's hood and holding a giant axe.
"Let's rumble."
Follow everyone else. Glare through the hood at them.
Fool.
Follow.
You glare at the people strewn about you with a horribly masked contempt, after making sure everyone else was doing the same, you set off for the hole. You arrive just in time to see Alex disappear down the hole. You step up and see a rope, trailing down the incline, and decide to use it to get down. (3 + 1(rope) = 4) You begin descending through the hole, and use the rope to support yourself. You manage to make it to the bottom without incident.

Sycamore
Sycamore's frown creased deeper on his face as he saw Artemis stride poudly past him into the cave... then drop straight down.

"Oh for the love of..." Sycamore ran over to the drop, just in time to see the boy dusting himself off, the dignified face he previously wore now replaced by a stern look of annoyance. Sycamore snorted.

"Hey kid!" He shouted "If you haven't noticed, you aren't walking in daddy's backyard anymore; so watch your step, eh?"

Sycamore paused to examine the steep decline. Getting down there would be an effort with all this gear he's carrying.
He stratched the stubble on his chin, contemplating what he should do.... ah. Maybe that'll work.

Toss his backpack and shield down first, then descend carefully.
You kneel down to examine the drop, and decide that ridding yourself of the weight of your gear was best. You drag off your pack, and drop it over the edge, along with our shield. (6) You then take great care with lowering yourself down, and trying to "slide" down the edge. You get nearly all the way down before you hit a slight jut in the wall, which knocks you off balance. You hit the ground, and manage to wind yourself badly, but that seems to be the extent of the damage done.

Arlia
Arlia elected not to join in the pleasantries that the more sociable members of the group were indulging in, more through a desire to maintain what he saw as professionalism than a legitimate desire to avoid being social. After all, from what he had read, no true hero or adventurer would waste time making friends or pointless conversation... right? Pushing a vague sense of loneliness to the back of his head, the young elf instead observed Sycamore as the veteran guardsman approached the cave entrance. Assuming that his lithe form wouldn't be able to take the significant drop as easily as a battle-hardened human, he unclipped one of the lengths of rope from his belt in preparation.
Arlia: Wait until Sycamore reaches the bottom of the hole, then attempt to descend himself using one of the lengths of rope in his possession. Leave the rope where it is for the use of the rest of the party.
You Watch as Sycamore slides down the side, before doing a very graceful, fall-flat-on-your-face. After this, you think it best to use one of the ropes you brought with you, to help yourself descend. You find a large rock nearby, and tie the rope around that. (3+1=4)You begin to slide yourself down, similar to Sycamore, but with the added stability of the rope, you manage to make it to the bottom without falling.

Bethany
Bethany walked past her allies and dove into the cavern headfirst-a seemingly suicidal gesture.

Of course, there was a sudden flapping and unfurling noise heard not long after-as two wings made of dark feathers were revealed from under her cloak-she landed nimbly, right beside Artemis.

"Those without wings should be more careful watching their step." She comments to him

Action: Glide down with agility!
You look down Artemis and the others who had slid down with a smirk, then lept into the air. (5) You wait until the last possible moment to deploy your wings, for a bit of flair. Luckily the tunnel is just wide enough to admit the wings, and you land lightly on your feet, next to the deeply scowling Artemis.

Alex
"Idiot. Probably broke his ankle."

Follow.
You shake your head at the stupidity of some people, then step up for your turn to descend. You grab hold of the rope left by Arlia, (4+1=5) and slide down the incline effortlessly. You land easily, and wonder why everyone didn't do that?

Raglkof
Wait for Scyamore to deploy his rope, then use it after him to descend.
((I assume you mean Arlia?))
You stand by, watching as Arlia sets up a rope down, then slides down the wall. This seems like a good idea, so you try to replicate it. (3 + 1 =4) It might not have been fancy, but you made it to the bottom without hurting yourself, or looking like an idiot.

Kent
((Losara, d00d, you missed my action. Not that it was significant, but...))
"Aw, guys, no need ta be a buncha showoffs" - Kent mutters. "Nobody 'ere doubts yer ability to climb down a hole without breakin' yer collective necks."
Climb down the rope after Beard. Check the knot before descending.
You see the way that Raglkof and Arlia have gotten down, and go to do the same as you see Bethany dive off the edge. You race to see what happened, only to see two wings unfurl from beneath her cloak, and allow her to glide, uninjured towards the ground. Confident you can't spontaneously grow wings, you follow the original plan, (6 + 1 =7) Unfortunately, you slip whilst descending, and fall at a very unhealthy angle. You land on your head, and you feel pain shoot up through your neck. (1 Damage)

Artemis
Artemis almost snarled. These simpletons better be thankful his time control abilities didn't work on this planet.

Not yet, anyways.

"Oh, you all think you're such professionals, don't you? Bet you would've been dead at this point had I not cleared the way for you! Grrh!"

Except for Kent, who he secretly thanked for not being so rash, Artemis was thoroughly annoyed at this point. He twilred his katana around and decided to be more careful in this hallway.

Adopt combat pose and carefully walk down the tunnel.
You draw your katana, and settle into a relaxed, but attentive state. You then walk slowly down the tunnel, towards the bend. Upon reaching it you see that the tunnel continues for a while, before opening up into a small cavern. It is very dark within the cavern, and you cannot see the far wall.

Edgar
Head down the rope after if allowed, else rig my own up, head down and retrieve it.
You wait until everyone else has descended, before stepping up to the rope. Having seen everyone else, you think you have a fair indication of what to do. (4+1=5) You lower yourself down, using the rope efficiently. You reach the end completely fine, and then try to pull the rope down. Unfortunately it is quite solidly attached to the rock, and will not budge.

Bethany sprang forward.

Action: Scout forward! Dont engage any danger if I find some-come back to warn my comrades.

"Considerin' my earlier statement, that was ironic." Kent rubs his neck and winces. "Oh well."

((only of us was smart enough to bring a torch. Let's hope it's a ever-burning nuclear candle sort of deal. ))

With one meaty paw Raglkof heaved Kent to his feet. "Careful there, lad! Wouldn't want to take another tumble, now would we?!"

With an idea inside his head he looked around for fist-sized rocks he could pick up to throw.

"Sycamore, Kent, you okay? Don't move, I need to check you guys."

Diagnose the injuries of the two who hurt themselves.

"Be careful, Bethany."

Oof. Five years ago Sycamore could've taken a beating like that and kept walking without a hitch. He paused to take a few deep breaths. All good so far. Doesn't feel like he broke anything, just a few sore ribs.

"I'm fine; damn rock just took the wind out of me." A shadow suddenly passed over him, and Bethany landed a few steps in front. Sycamore narrowed his eyes at her. "Back in my day we had to walk..."

Just then, Sycamore spied Artemis disappear into the narrow tunnel, weapon at the ready. After that little accident the boy strutted into earlier, he sure seemed eager to walk into another potential hazard.

"See anything in there, kid?"

Begin retrieving my equipment. Follow Artemis.

"Don't get your knickers all in a knot, healer, you'll be seeing worse afore the day is done."
Kent accepts Beard's hand with a slightly apologetic grin.
"Slipped. Shit happens. Me lantern is okay, though."
He unclips the thing from his backpack. It is a weighty, sturdy ball of milled brass and glass panes, not unlike the head of a mace in shape. Kent lights the stubby white candle inside with his flint.
Follow the rest at a small distance. Hold lantern in shield hand.

Alex sighs.
"You both landed pretty hard. Kent, you landed on your head. I'm not sure if you know any anatomy, but the head is extremely important for not dying. I really should give you a quick check, make sure that you're not going to get worse if you move about and deal with whatever monsters or whatever are in this cave, that there aren't worse injuries you aren't noticing."
Attempt to diagnose them if they stand still.
"But if you're really dedicated to risk..."
If they insist, let them be and follow the group, trying to keep an eye out for symptoms of worse or internal injury.

Artemis' heart darkened in the inside, which was suprising considering how dark it was already.
They laughed at him. They always laughed at him. Ever since Zechariah stole his damn powers, he was nothing but the butt of everyone's jokes. He was a god once before. Now he was just a king on the run from his own kingdom. Viva la vida, he guessed. It didn't matter if he died here or if he died in his sleep. Not even Satan would take a glance at Artemis, that's how damned he was already. Thousands of souls cried for his blood on the blade of God. All he had now was himself. And even that, he was losing.

Calm girl. Don't be in such a rush to die.

Artemis laughed for effect, his voice echoing down the tunnel. "Isn't that what we came for, though?"

It was what he had come for, anyways. Whether by allies or enemies or nature he would fall. He just knew it.

"If you mean darkness, darkness, and more darkness, like I've seen my whole life, then yes."

Bethany sprang forward.
"We're not going to get anywhere milling about the entrance, waiting for someone to sacrifice themselves.
Action: Scout forward! Dont engage any danger if I find some-come back to warn my comrades.

"Hey! I'm not just gonna sit here!"
Advance into the darkness. Check the shadows for anything dangerous.

"Fine, fine. If you discover that my skull's cracked, don't tell me, 't would be embarrassin'."
Kent frowns, then pitches his voice to carry.
"Oi! Artemis whatsyername! If'n you're so determined ta walk in front, you can have my lamp if you want."
