Why does this forum category exist when there are already Fortress and Adventure categories?  I always find this category to be duplicative of what is in the Fortress forum.

When I come here, I expect to post, when I go there, I expect to read. Unless something fun just happened.

there are so many people with small questions. So many questions....

If the two sub-forums were put together you'd be looking at about 2 pages of new threads or threads with new posts per day on some days. Personally, I'm not very interested at the moment in what other people do for challenges, megaprojects or stupidity. I do like to help people who have a question. So to safe myself having to look through all the posts I just hang around here and am happy they are seperated.

I know some people post questions in those other sub-forums, which is fine with me.

I think many game forum (busy game forum) that I know has a general discussion and a question section. The question section there is usually for newbies and has a FAQ sticky and the like, but the idea is the same. So tradition is on the side of seperation too

as a final note, this isn't a gameplay question, so not really the right place to post this. It's also not a DF dwarf mode discussion topic, since it's not game related. Maybe somewhere where you talk about the forums, or DF general discussion?
